Had a glass of Pinot noir. The drink menu here and at the other airport bar and grill has no prices. What’s up with that? It’s not fancy. If you ask about price, they wave vaguely and tell you about the “range.” It just seems ludicrous.
Just sat here to drink a local beer waiting for my flight outta town. It's the last Friday of Balloon Fiesta and the place is PACKED. (Anyone who knows ABQ understands what this means.) The staff were on top of stuff -- working together to get drinks and food out, collaborating to make sure everyone at the bar wasn't just served; they were satisfied. The servers were kind and unhurried and on top of their game. I was super impressed. Airport bars can be terrible but...
Sit at the bar for the best service. They have a nice draft with local beers and let you bring food from other restaurants. They also serve chips, salsa and queso and have a to go food case, but I haven't tried the food. I like to grab a slice of pizza from trattoria then come here and get a beer.
