Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

I had the pulled pork sandwich and green chile stew. Both were delicious. The green chile stew is not traditional, but still very tasty!

Best juicy brisket!⁸

Expensive TRASH!!! The BBQ is not smoked or seasoned well. The meat is DRY. I purchased coleslaw that was brown and discolored. I ended up throwing the chicken and coleslaw away due to the quality. I called the manager in hopes of getting a refund or credit for the rotten food I threw away and he was rude, condescending and offered no solution or refund. The date on the bottom of the coleslaw was the 21st, which is 3 days old, and apparently even though it looked and smelled bad, was still okay to sell. Don't waste your money going to Rudy's. Duke City BBQ is MUCH BETTER! The food is fresh, meat is moist and well seasoned and you don't end up throwing $20 in the trash. Rudy's is over priced and over rated! YUCK!

We've been going to Rudy's for several years, and always thoroughly enjoyed a great take out meal. We went today and we put in our typical order to go: one pound of moist brisket for me and 1/2 chicken for my wife and two ears of corn. Unfortunately, what had always been a treat turned out to be a horrible deal. The amount of fat on the brisket was absolutely horrendous! After trimming the fat from the edible parts off the meat, I weighed the fat on a digital postal scale . . . the result was 4.1 ounces of fat or 30% of the order. One pound of moist brisket costs $28.98 and we wound up spending $8.69 on the inedible part that ended up in the trash.

Jesus was absolutely amazing and greeted me and my family with excellent customer service. His entire vibe and how he helped us and took our order made me really like being there. The food was amazing, prime ribs, brisket, 2 meat sandwiches, cream corn, and to wrap it up Rudy's barbecue sauce! 10/10 definitely coming back!!

I had the breakfast brisket tacos with potatoes. Service was friendly and fast. The place was clean. The green chile has a nice kick, which I preferred over the red chile. It was overall bland without adding extra everything. Maybe I will try something different next time or not?

Food is great as usual. I remember them trimming most fat when ordering moist brisket now they do not which is a lil more than 1/4 of the weight which I did not care for.

The food is great at Rudy’s. I generally order take out to take home and their service is definitely good though I suggest inspecting orders just to make sure. The brisket and turkey are my go to orders but their loaded potatoes are amazing as well. I go at least once a month or so!

I want to give a huge S/O to Gary and Eva! The customer service (which is a lost art) that these 2 gave was amazing! The “care” to help my wife find what meal was best for her to eat and the time they took was noticed! The food was amazing as always but I wanted to take the time to recognize the genuine care!
