Rustic Bubble Tea Cafe

This review is for drinks only not food. Visited this place the other day with hubs and due to being a huge bubble tea and Vietnamese coffee purchased several drinks-coffee and bubble tea. We were very disappointed. All drinks were lacking in flavor and strength and tasted watered down. The Viet coffee wasn’t strong or sweet and Viet coffee should be both. The flavor of the tapioca pearls themselves were ok, not bad but definitely could be better however they were oddly small in size but not small enough to be mini-bubbles. The good thing was that they had aloe which not many of the boba cafes in ABQ have. We are from Cali (and I am 2nd gen 100% Viet) and therefore we have been consuming bubble tea for the majority of our lives so this was a huge letdown. Not sure why this place has such high ratings by others. Hope feedback is taken and drinks are improved. Would be willing to try again later if so.

The best boba in town

I’ve been coming to rustic since I was a freshman at manzano. I’m 27 now. Easily the best boba spot in ABQ - Elijah.

One of the best boba places (I’ve been to a few!) in the city in terms of consistency. I get a jasmine milk tea with boba, half sweet less ice every time, and it is the same drink, every time. I took my friends here and they really liked it, too. Highly recommend.

This is my go-to boba spot! Tons of fun flavor options and drinks are always delicious.

Overpriced for an overall mid drink. I cannot believe I spent 8 dollars on highly processed sugar milk. It wasn't even real lychee.

Went in today ordered a passion fruit milk tea with mango jelly and it was so delicious!!! , I loved the way the store was set up and he made my drink super fast will go back again !

I‘m a boba addict and am always looking for new places in the city. I came here with my dad today (who is very picky) but was very pleased with both the boba and the snacks! I got the mango milk tea with boba, the tapioca pearls are a great consistency and the tea itself was very flavorful! Not overwhelmingly sweet either. Great job here :)
