Not a really big fan of writing reviews, mostly because it is a waste of my time. Since I am actually taking time to review this place, it is going to be as snooty as I can make it. Here are my thoughts.

Thought 1: I’m beyond light or dark coffee. If I ask for the Ethiopian coffee I want the Ethiopian coffee. Don’t ask as a clarification. They also need to turn down the temperature on their coffee maker. It was to hot and I could taste that they burnt the grounds during brewing. Either that or they didn’t actually use Ethiopian beans.

Thought 2: If you bring my to go food to me on a plate, then I will be seriously considering taking the plate with me. Fortunately, for the business, I am a nice and patient individual and will wait for the barista to pack my food properly.

Thought 3: This coffee shop feels more cooperate than the Starbucks inside the IBM building in Chicago. I’m pretty sure it survives because the sad businessmen just want to look at something other than spreadsheets and PowerPoints at lunchtime.

Thought 4: the food was about average for a standard corporate coffee shop. As in, obviously prepackaged and warmed up. Have I had worse food, yes. Have I had better food, also yes. With that in mind, I would really appreciate more cream cheese on my toasted bagel. Restaurants can really make up for quality by increasing quantity. For $2 the cream cheese should be squeezing out of the bagel when you bite into it.

I’ve been coming here for about a month now and this is where I now get my coffee. They’re so nice and welcoming. The coffee selection is really good! A lot of different varieties of coffees, fraps, matcha and teas and some bakery goods! Their coffees are made fresh and delicious! Not too sweet and perfectly balanced! Also the cafe is very nice, organized and clean! Love it and the location as well! 💕 (pictured is their coconut cascade cold brew)

I would pick Satellite over Starbuck and Duch Bros ANY day! The flavor and quality of their coffee is unmatched, and I get to support local.It's legitimately my favorite coffee shop. I typically get either a White Chocolate Mocha or a Caramel dolce, and both are amazing. I hope for the Jefferson location to open back up on Saturday's so my husband and I can grab coffee for the Cars and Coffee event held in their parking lot every Saturday.

The only reason I rated “atmosphere” a 4 and not a 5 is because it was a little noisy in there for me cuz I’m autistic.
