Absolutely the best happy hour in town. Great wines, excellent service and wonderful food. The views from the patio really are relaxing.
It's a bit noisy and a bit pricey.
Had moved out of town several years ago, but back now so tried Savoy after many years away. Was a cool vibe and had an excellent happy hour drink and food menu. The wings are probably my favorite in Albuquerque! I’ll be back soon!
A lovely dinner - the food was excellent - the fish (cod) perfectly cooked, not over done. The service was also excellent! And the price fair - appropriate.
I ordered the seared ahi tuna and it was excellent. I loved that they paired it with wasabi mashed potatoes - innovative and delicsion. The accompaning bok choy was perfectly cooked. The server recommended a Pinot Noir that paired perfectly with it. I had the mango lassi panacotta for desset. It was not a great choice. It wasn't a true panacotta consistency and the mango did not taste fresh. Still I wanted to try something new. Next time I will stick with the hazelnut torte. The service was superb and the server was very attentive but didn't hover. Excellent. The place is beautiful and contemporary but as a result is all "hard surfaces" so it can get noisy. That didn't bother me but it really bothered my guest.
Great location for a nice quite dinner with another couple, great food and service in the smaller "Fire Place" room.
We visited this past week. The service was great waitress was very thorough and attentive. My wife had a salad with grilled salmon, I had the grilled chicken with beans and vegetables. The only complaint was way too much salt in the sides. Next time I'll ask to add my own. Highly recommended will visit again.
We appreciated the thoughtful service as well as the fine food preparation. Especially loved the crab cake app which was clearly and deliciously more crab than cake! Prepared my Filet Mignon to perfection--rare, cold red center just as I requested. The cherry pie dessert was outstanding with whole cherries with a simple crust on top and lemon ice cream. Delectable!
There was no publicity about The Savoy being open at 11 am on Easter Sunday, 2025, instead of the usual 3 pm. I called to check and then made a Noon reservation and there was a short, special brunch menu and it was very good.
We went for our 19th anniversary and I included that in the reservation. We were sat in seats facing a water tank, next to a hallway, so not great seats. Our waitress was pleasant, she did not inquire about us, was not personable, she just took our order and brought our food. She did not offer to refill drinks or try to do anything other than deliver our food so overall she was fine. I was hoping for a great experience and what I got was a nice dinner with good food that was mostly brought timely, but I won't go back for a celebration or to have a special event.

My wife and I were there to celebrate my 75th birthday and we enjoyed the food, drinks, and the good service. Thank you for the enjoyable evening.
I had been looking forward to going to Savoy with another couple, as we had heard good things about it. There were four of us, two couples, Wed. 6PM reservation. The other couple arrived and sat before we got there. Upon entering, there was minimal greeting from the gentleman at the host stand. We quickly found our friends. The restaurant is stunning - from the walls to the silverware. Tons of bar space to have an app and a drink. I had a cappuccino, which was strong and served with sugar cubes. Wonderful. A 12 oz pour of wine and a mixed drink were ordered. Both to the liking. Two of us got salads with our meals. No complaints there. I got the homemade pappardelle pasta with veggies. I love homemades. The pasta was so gummy, thick, stuck together and pasty. Veggies were good. My husband got the filet, which, while nothing was wrong, definitely nothing stood out. The other couple got the salmon which was delicious and the tuna, which similar to the filet, was just okay. We ordered dessert and coffee. The carrot cake the other couple had was dry. My husband's ice cream was grainy. My hazelnut torte was tasty, with beautiful layers, but the layers easily separated. The creme brulee was a success. Overall, the reason I scored this so low was the expectations and cost. When I am easily spending $150 for a dinner with drinks, dessert, and one of the meals having no meat, I expect it to be fantastic - something I can rave about. It was not and we will not be going back.
Patricia's service was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She failed to inform us of any soup or specials when we arrived. After ordering sparkling water with her, Patricia took an unreasonably long time to bring it to us, well after we'd already placed our orders. When she finally returned, she told us they were out of prime rib, which was the reason we came. Deciding to leave, she rudely charged us for the water that we hadn’t even touched. When we tried to get her attention to address the issue, Patricia not only brought us incorrect change but also actively avoided us, making an already frustrating experience even worse.
I recently visited Savoy in the private dining room. The food was very good and the service was exceptional! But I regret the main reason I am writing is because two aspects of the visit spoiled a higher rating. First, it was way too hot. But more importantly, the acoustics in the private room are absolutely AWFUL. This was supposed to be a conversational dinner and it was extremely hard to hear and uncomfortably loud. I strongly recommend management consider some ceiling tiles or some wall hangings or ANYTHING to fix the acoustics. A restaurant this nice shouldn’t have this kind of problem.
The food was very mediocre. The filet mignon was mushy and flavorless. The mashed potatoes had no flavor. Very disappointed. But the atmosphere and service was top notch.
