I'm embarrassed for this place. Food was good not great. The Valentine's Day menu was limited and outrageously overpriced. There was no mention of the menu when I made a phone reservation. They were trying to serve more people than they could effectively so service was poor and slow. Felt like a money grab without much concern for their customers.

This lovely bar is great for a happy hour. The drink and appetizer menu offers many excellent and reasonably priced options. The bartender’s special this time was a well-balanced gin drink with lemon, elderflower syrup, and passion fruit pulp. It paired well with the encrusted baked Brie. Friendly service and welcoming vibe.

Absolutely amazing my boyfriend surprised me for a lovely evening out. They have two sides to the restaurant one of which has a bar/lounge area. The restaurant itself is eloquent and luxurious with a warm fireplace. We were greeted warmly with the best server/bartender Mike and we happened to be the only ones there besides the owner and the state of the art server. It honestly felt like a lady and the tramp date especially with the styled music they had playing that night. Our drinks were absolutely incredible and I honestly am not a big alcohol person but loved both the drinks we got. The server even told us about their happy hour M-S 4-6 drinks and food. We got the shrimp appetizer I was born and raised here I don’t eat shrimp it was so fresh, all Of the food was incredible I can’t say enough good things about it. The owner was great and my boyfriend and I felt so much better after eating there it was som of the best quality food I’ve ever had hands down. Kudos to the owner, Mike, the chefs they have this place down to a science. Look at the photo I took of the steak and bone marrow it’s unbelievable.

My wife an I went checked this place out as a new option for upscale dining in ABQ and we weren't disappointed!. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent! We both had the duck and it was amazing!. our waiter Roman did a great jot making sure everything was right. It was what one would expect for fine dining. They had enough variety on the menu to allow even the pickiest of eaters satisfied with their selection. Looking forward to our next visit.

My gf and I are foodies and we have ate in the majority of the nicer places in abq I would say. We also love to cook so I can confidently say we know flavor very well. That being said, this was our least favorite non chain restaurant in Albuquerque. Thankfully I like my meat undercooked because it was purple. There was zero seasoning on the duck, and the lamb, not even salt. And some people may prefer that, maybe I should have asked how it was seasoned but to say the very least every cut of meat we got was very bland. My gf got a filet mignon and her specific words were “it’s hard to mess up filet mignon but they did it”. I got the farm, so the lamb, duck and elk. Elk steak was so mushy it had the texture of a roast, the sauce was decent. Both the lamb and duck had really nothing on it. Bang for your buck, I was really disappointed and will never waist my money on this place again. Waiter was fine and professional. Said “best kept secret in abq”… yeah more like most secretly mediocre restaurant to rob you of your money.

I wanted to share some constructive feedback regarding our New Year’s Eve dinner last night. Our waiter was very kind and knowledgeable, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, from the moment we sat down, the overwhelming smell of Fabuloso set the tone for the entire meal and made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience.
My steak was cooked incorrectly and came out warm rather than hot, and my lobster tail was undercooked. I’m always uncomfortable sending food back, but my sister also had to return her pork chop, which was undercooked as well. One of our friends received the wrong side dish. While the appetizers looked appealing, the crab dip tasted overwhelmingly like mayonnaise, and the shrimp cocktail had a fishy taste. The scallops were probably the best part of the meal, the flavor was good but there were only three small scallops on the plate.
My friend and I had wine service, so my bill alone was $160. Paying that amount is completely fine when the food and service are executed well, but unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet that expectation. My sister paid $90 for her entrée and was only able to eat three bites.
I truly feel like this restaurant has a lot of potential, and it’s possible that things were simply off last night. However, every bite of food I took was also impacted by the strong cleaning smell, which made the meal hard to enjoy.

Loved the duck entree and french onion soup! Eat on the bar side, and choose from 3 menus! Comfortable, stylish atmosphere. Great for casual or special occasions. Can't wait to go back
This place was freaking amazing! The waiter Christopher was so knowledgeable & knew what wines to pair with what foods. He even brought out a Falanghi, Fuedi Di San Gregorio which was different wine for me to sample & it was perfect for me. I had the Farm, which was Duck, Lamb & Pork Belly, while Gerald had a Cowboy Ribeye. I have never had a poached pear simmered in Brandy for 4 hours with a scoop of ice cream, paired with a Chateau Laribotte before. At first the wine is sweet, but after your take a bite of pear & ice cream the wine is tart. Seared Bistro also gives you sherbet & a personalized birthday card for your birthday.
This place is a must try!

Had a great time at Seared Bistro. Roman, our server, was great! The food was delicious. I had the rib eye. It was cooked to perfection and the bone marrow was amazing.

Tried this place out for the 1st time because we wanted to try a new restaurant. The ambience is chill and relaxing. This is a great place to have a date night. They offer wine (pretty big selection) and cocktails. They had a pretty good selection on their menu and the waiter let us.know that it does change dependent on the season. We liked that because we can have different options when we go again. I usually get a picture of the menu to post, however, if it changes it would be worthless so just go and find out. I do recommend giving this place a try. The food was absolutely wonderful! I had the Cowboy Rib eye with Marrow and my wife had the fettuccine with lamb. Let me tell you, they don't skimp on the portions. Yes the dishes can be a bit pricey BUT we had left overs for 2 meals after so I would say it's worth it. We would go back and order the same thing because it was so good. Seasoning was on point and presentation was great. Every employee we encountered was very welcoming. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered recommendations when asked. I can say we will definitely return and are eager to try some of their other options and we have also recommended family members to go as well. The restaurant is kind of hidden but so glad we discovered it. It's located across the street from Old Town so you can probably walk across the street for a stroll or some shopping after. Roll by and try it out for yourselves. I recommend giving them a call if possible to make a reservation because the restaurant isn't that big so there could be a wait.

I came here because all the good reviews on fb and google, my friends warned me about this place but didn't want to believe them. Service was superb since arrival, amosphere was ok, very loud for such a small place. All the food looked so delicious but unfortunately was extremely salty to the point we couldnt eat it and took all home to try to fix it, we werent the only one who thought this since we heard the other tables making the same comments...Weird enough none of us told the server or manager. Will never come back to this place, way too expensive to get inedible food.

7/25/25- This was my first time dining at this restaurant. What a find! The staff was friendly, attentive, and professional. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and clean. There was plenty of parking in front of the restaurant and to the side. The menu had a wide it range of options including some vegetarian. It was hard to decide. Our table had ordered an appetizer of deep fried asparagus, the salmon and filet oscar for the entree. It was absolutely fantastic! I will likely order the salmon next time. The salads we're delicious and fresh. The meal was so good we could not possibly leave without trying a dessert, the german chocolate cake. This restaurant comes highly recommended and I will look forward to eating here again.
