This place is trash and a joke of a establishment I have had heard MANY negative experiences from people who have been here I got “banned” because my ex was cheating on me with one of the bartenders here and he choose to say whatever he said to them and the unprofessional immature bartenders for some reason choose to get overly involved despite hearing so many negative things not only from people who have been here but other owners of different establishments I choose to attend one last time I walked in the door the bartenders gave me the most disrespectful energy and the dirtiest looks I have ever gotten in my entire life and told me and my friend(who was her first time being here) that we weren’t allowed and we were banned I choose not even to address it and leave to go to a establishment that is actually welcoming kind and know how to run a establishment like this being in the LGBTQ community this is extremely disappointing this being my THIRD experience at sidewinders it’s very disgusting behavior and no person should ever feel unwelcomed and unwanted at a LGBTQ friendly establishment I was talking about my experience with a owner of another LGBTQ establishment and the response I got from them was “imagine getting banned from the dumpster” which I thought was hilarious you guys need to get your stuff together and learn how to run a establishment in a professional friendly manner instead of running it like immature highscoolers .

This place is a joke . Told I wasn’t allowed to visit friends to see a show. Again support others that try to help support your business. The staff in here are all so small minded and so rude I mean nothing changed about this place . People be ashamed of how you treat your customers it all comes down to favoritism. I was just there last weekend with my best friend. They never told me anything, but once I’m alone, they attacked me I felt they like to embarrassed me, and I have to say people grow up sidewinders I see this place, unhappy, staff, and false advertisement on how they treat people. And for people to be talking when they never new a gentleman pulled my pants off but it was ok and I seen so much drugs and a lot worse but it’s ok write …. to the exact same thing but nothing ever done to them or being harassed. I pray for you all and get over it and move on ! ?But hopefully this year you treat others with respect and get better management and staff . ?I been alcohol free for a year and know I see how all you people work . Again they pick on people that they don’t like it was an excuse just like everybody that I had a conversation tells me pretty sad you people are I’ll be praying for you all.

Great spot. Having come here many times I’ve noticed there isn’t much diversity amoungst GOGO’s, bar staff, performers, djs etc. they all seem to be a certain type of person. I realize it’s New Mexico. But should be worked

Visited as had seen they had food on google that wasn't just spicy food as the husband won't eat if not plain. Wanted to eat on route 66 as well. To be fair I did not realise exactly the market of the bar before we got there but we were made welcome and it was the first time either of us have had our ID's checked in a very long time :D , the barmaid was an absolute delight and sorted me out with an awesome margarita and some terrific fish tacos. We enjoyed some karaoke while we ate on the patio. Shame we were so tired from travelling or I would have stayed for more margaritas. Thanks for your hospitality!

Lovely people per gay bar standards.However, I am not sure who designed the layout... But the bar doesn't have much bar space to sit at, the sitting areas are awkward... Music volume is all over the place. Basically the place has no style or feng shui. They should hire some gay people to decorate. I have seen some definite improvements, but it's just not a "cute" place to hang out just yet. Dark and dingy.
