Great food !
I had the seabass and wondered how it was so nice so far from the sea !
I also had the steak and mash another night and it was brilliant!
Good price for what you get.
The service was just great, the girls were really friendly, bubbly and nothing was too much trouble.

I had all 3 vegetarian tacos made vegan (swapped cheese for their spicy nut-based "cheese" sauce) and they were delicious! Fun place, we played pinball after eating.
Best loaded nachos in ABQ. Chef John (Tony) is awesom! Great drinks as well.

Went for a concert & it was my first time going to a bar. The bartender's were really nice and patient with me, the atmosphere was fun, and the actual concert room was pretty spacey with plent of places to set drinks down if needed.

We tried to eat here but obviously it is closed. No signage or indication that it is there. Updated from previous review on 2025-08-05
Maggie was so rude when I was ordering, probably won’t come back. Terrible service!

Recommended dishes: Carne Asada
It is impossible to overstate how great the tacos at Sister are. I travel for a living, and these are hands down the best tacos I've ever consumed in all my travels. The carne asada and pork belly are tied neck and neck for the top spot with the carnitas not far behind with all the taco options being gluten free. Literally after one bite of the carne asada I knew I had come across something that is in a league of it's own. If you enjoy tacos and you find yourself in Albuquerque, you MUST go to Sister and experience the best. I will forever compare every taco I eat in the future to the ones I just had the pleasure of experiencing at this establishment. Oh yeah, there's also pinball machines and a boatload of beer on tap if that's your thing too.

Sister uses deceptive pricing practices. They are currently advertising a ticket for $16 but it is not possible to buy the ticket for less than $21.53.
There is no reason to have a "convenience fee" that is over 34% of the total ticket price.
I'm happy that the FTC passed their junk fee rule and I'm looking forward to reporting you all for these deceptive practices when it goes into effect.
Good music venue. Reconfiguration of bar/concert area sucks. Not enough air flow or space in music side vs old setup. Kind of a bummer seeing shows here now.

Delicious cheese fries with carne asada. Decent beer selection, though I wish there had been more IPA options. Staff was super courteous and friendly. Spacious place. Lots of pinball! So fun.
Parking: Depends on when you go. Saturday afternoon was plentiful.
