My husband and I both got the Green Chile Chicken Sandwich, but I requested mine to be made with grilled chicken while he stuck with the menu and got fried. Mine was clearly the winner. I took a star away because they way over fried the chicken and what he got was a dry, burnt piece of meat that he had to smother in mayo to make edible. The green chile chicken stew was good, but the hands down best part of the meal was that Green Chile Cheddar Bun! I love a good bun and that one I’ll be thinking about all the way back to Texas!

My friends and I came for brunch on a Sunday. I ordered the salmon bowl, and the salmon was too undercooked for me. I mentioned it and the server got one of the managers. When he came he told me “well that’s how I would eat it” and then continued to talk to the server about it in front of us. Finally the server mentioned that they could get me a new piece of salmon only. We waited another 20 minutes for the salmon to come out. It took a while so we asked for it to go. They brought it out and it was just the salmon, with none of the sauce that the original plate had on it. I completely understand that these things happen, however the way that the situation was handled felt unprofessional. No hate to our server at all. He was very sweet however the overall experience was not great. I hope it was just a one time thing.

We catered an event with Slate Street (@ Fusion) last night. The food was great, the service was great, the price was very reasonable for what we got. We ordered heavy appetizers and they put together a good mix of lighter things - hummus, cheese board, and more substantial - short rib sliders, chicken skewers, coconut shrimp. They set everything up beautifully- not just trays on a table. They were great to work with.
Very cute place. Food is decent, but a little overpriced & they seem to ignore online orders. 45 minutes to pick up a latte or a few cupcakes is excessive. They also never have the food ready when they say it will be ready. Service in restaurant is better

We recently worked with Slate Street Restaurant for an off-site plated event for 125 guests, and they absolutely exceeded our expectations! The menu featured three delicious protein options, along with fresh salad, perfectly prepared sides, and a decadent dessert—every single item was outstanding.
The level of service was just as impressive as the food. Christine, Cody, and Joe showed incredible attention to detail throughout the entire planning and execution process. The waitstaff was professional, attentive, and made sure every guest was taken care of.
Slate Street made our event seamless and truly memorable. We’re already looking forward to working with them again for future events!

It was my first time there. Meet some friends for dinner. My order of a chicken sandwich plate was good. The waitress wasn't so good she was serving other tables and took her time to come back to take our orderwe were being Paient but one of the ladies at our table didn't order food because it was after 8pm late and the waitress was annoying her so she didn't order food. I hope the waitress service will get better. I will try it again.

Food was great, service was great & the atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing as well! Was slightly more expensive than i would expect, however it is close to downtown. I got the fried egg sandwich, simple and tasty.

Always a favorite.
Servers were terrible, restaurant was slow yet servers were lost. Asked for ice water with lemon server quickly brought water but dropped them off quickly at table and walked away not to be seen for another 10min. Had to catch her at another table to ask for our lemons. Food dropped off by food runner. Everything was delicious. Server did good job of pre-bussing dropped off check. We needed change and had wanted desert to go. waited 20 min before chasing down server in back after hounding busser for help to find server. I get that they close at 2pm but stay attentive to your job for gods sake. Waited another 15 to 20 min before having to chase down server again to get the desert. Wait staff and cooks could be seen in back socializing. Very frustrating lunch. We arrived at 12:31pm did not get out till 1:52pm. Only had a soup, grill cheese w/salad and 2 bread puddings that only needed to be place in boxes majority of the time was waiting. This is the second time we’ve been there and both times service was horrible. Foods great, just order it ahead for pickup. Not worth dealing with the wait.
