My husband and I have been twice and were impressed with their cocktails and food! Great local spot for brunch and or to watch a game!

It's a nice looking place, fun environment, but a bit louder than I expected. My friend's food- the fish and chips looked (and I hear, tasted) amazing. I ordered tacos, which turned out to be salt in a shell and I'm a salt-aholic more often than not. I couldn't finish my food. I would say I may come back, but I'm not impressed enough to rush back over.

I LOVE everything about this place. Food was amazing and service was one of the best I've seen in my life and I always go to restaurants. I would highly recommend Sobermesa this is my new favorite restaurant ever.

They always get my order wrong here and take so long to come and take your order

We went in and were totally ignored. The hostess kept going back and forth from her booth purposely not looking at us, ignoring us. Finally, with her attitude, she looked at us and said it would be 25 mins because there is only 2 servers and it would be “too overwhelming for them” so we left. I understand that places are understaffed but there was no reason for us to be ignored for 10 mins while she clearly sees us there waiting to be seated.

Did not have a good experience here. The greeting/ seating staff did not give a good impression, and seemed annoyed at having to do their jobs when my husband and I walked in.The menu is underwhelming, and pricey, our waitress was not attentive, and did not engage whatsoever. The restaurant itself is very pretty and tables were clean, but the staff made it easy to not want to return.

We really had such a great experience here. It was St. Paddy's day and despite it being busy we got seated quickly. We all ordered the full spectrum of beers from stout to helles. All were very very good. Proper. Now we get to the food. EVERYTHING was exceptional. Fish and chips? HUGE. Burger? Decadent. Sweet potato and black bean empanada? Slap your mother. Sunday Burrito? Don't even talk to me until you've tried it. Really great. Very happy.

Food and drinks are great, but the service is subpar. It wasn't busy as I walked in, sat at the bar and waited 10 min before one of the 4 people gathered (casually conversating) at the bar decided to look over and take my drink order. Asked for two samples of beer and it took another 10min to come back and fulfill my drink order. I decided to ask for food menu immediately so I can order and hopefully expedite my order (2 tacos) and that came 20 min later. The only reason I didn't walk out was I was waiting to for my ride to pick me up. Please train staff on attentiveness.

We learned about Sobremesa because they entered their breakfast stout into the Los Alamos stout invitational and we decided it was in our top 3 out of 16 stouts. I enjoyed tasting their other beers, and they have a good selection of cocktails as well. I had the espresso martini and the peach beer, as well as Brussel sprout appetizer and tacos to eat. My boyfriend had the pork sandwich. The food was all good and I enjoyed the variety. The seating area is well designed, decorated and spacious, and the service was also timely. We were able to pay at the table with a card payment device which was left with the check and it made it easy to split the bill.

Definitely put Sobremesa on your go to list if you haven't already. I admit that I'm partial to places that make you feel at home so I loved this about Sobremesa. Everything was amazing - the drinks, food, staff, atmosphere. I was there for a private event so not able to get photos. but upon my certain retur I'll get photos to share. There is adequate parking so no hassles. There is a bar area and various seating options including a cozy couch area and a patio. I highly recommend for a place to meet to discuss business, have a family get together or a date. You can be casual or dressed up and feel comfy either way. Don't wait too long to treat yourself!

Decided to go there before a basketball game. We truly enjoyed. It was happy hour and the wine and beer was reasonable! Shared the brussel sprouts, outstanding, ceasar salad, beet and goat cheese salad and chili cheese fries with chicken. We all shared and enjoyed. Service was good, took no time at all to be served. They had plenty of servers. Atmosphere is comfortable and outdoor seating is possible. Want to go back and try the tacos. Burgers looked good at a table next to us. Very enjoyable!
