Just driving through Albuquerque. Looked very hard on yelp for a breakfast spot with gluten free and vegetarian options. Called Southwest Savories and the woman I spoke to was awesome: very nice, accommodating, and helpful. We got some AMAZING breakfast burritos. Amazing value, very satisfied, highly recommend.

We checked out this little neighborhood place for lunch yesterday. We passed up the now-open inside dining in favor of a nice table on the sidewalk which caught the breeze. The menu was so large that it was hard to believe it would all be good, but it was. I ordered Steak and Eggs, about the most expensive thing on the menu, and got a real steak, done just to my order of medium-rare. I saved most of it for a later meal. My husband, who had ordered the breakfast burrito, was happy to help himself to my homemade biscuit, and take home my beans, which they packaged up separately for him when I asked them to. And, when you sit outside, you sometimes get neglected, but they came out to help just the right number of times. I will definitely be back soon and often.

First of all they had my grubhub driver waiting for my food (almost an hour) I had to cancel my order and then they told me they would find another person to get my order. I called 30 min after to see where it was at and they told me they didn’t know about that. AND they STILL charged me again for my order and they still didn’t tell me when my food was going to arrive.

Thank you for doing such a fantastic job of catering our event! the breakfast trays and lunch were amazingly delicious, and your flexibility with the logistical complexity of base delivery was super helpful. You contributed to a very successful review! I can't thank you enough!

Get the Byo hamburger with bacon back and a fried egg and green chilie. Very tender and savory. Not a busy place. I think their main business is cooking for the airlines and have the cafe on the side.

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Southwest Savories Cafe. I had some homemade Salsa to start with and then a generous amount of delicious Turkey croissant-sandwich with crispy French Fries. After a Choice of Banana pudding or a Fudge dessert with the best homemade whipped cream I ever tasted! The cafe was spotless and nicely decorated. The service was excellent! Highly recommend this cafe!

If you are looking for something standard this is not the place. Southwest Savories is special and unexpected! I've had the pork belly BLT, green chile chicken alfredo, ridiculously large breakfast burrito, and a variety of their baked goods. I have always found myself full and unable to stop eating! Cannot say enough good things about the place!

Found this place while waiting to get tires changed on my bike. It's a small place with a mix of southwest and modern decorations. There were two employees in the front who treated me immediately. I had the carne avada burrito smothered in green and a side of pancakes. Both were pretty good. I don't like to much heat in my Chile so i thought it was just the right amount. It's hard to find hidden behind I think a motel 8. I will definitely come back. Oh at least 3 door dash deliveries came in if that helps any.

When I got there there was nobody in there employees were sitting down. All tables needed to put wipe down. I ordered my food. Then I asked for ice tea for a drink. They said sorry we don't have Ice-Tea. We only serve sodas and water in cans and plastic bottles. When I am in a restaurant sitting down I like to enjoy a glass of iced tea or a glass of ice water not of a bottle. Overall it's small nice atmosphere, the food is good. It has a lot of potential. I would have given it a four-star four or five. Only because drinks are served out of a can or a cup and I haven't asked for the table to be cleaned. Overall the place is really clean.

We just had breakfast delivered to us and there were several items missing. Other items were wrong. The food that we did get was a little cold but it tasted good. We will not order from Southwest Savories in the future.

Ive now Gotten to try them twice, once they were moving the dining room nextdoor so it was hard to eat there. but we got some of the mexibowls with chicken. Two things of note, they do a fair bit of boxed lunches/catering, and because of that they have really nice reusable to-go containers. (not something i normally remark on, but even the desert i got today came in a nice little snap top tub. On my 2nd visit the new dining room was open and nicely decorated, there is still a bit of food prep space lingering in the back, but mostly hidden by one of 2 delicious looking dessert cases. Was served by one of the owners who was chatting with the chef over some meat rubs he was trying out. there was a nice little bit of discussion between us about geeking out with spices! She was she said, a bit of a Self proclaimed foodie, They asked my take on the Au Jus that came with my french dip, and i must say it was delicious i had several spoonfuls after i was done with my sandwich while i was pretending to fish out spilled meat. the fresh fruit side was delicious and nicely varied, and did not appear to be sweetened (sugar water) at all. and the apple caramel bar i had for dessert was also pleasantly flavorful without being a sugar shock! Going to have to keep this on my radar because tucked away beind whatever the old LaQuinta Hotel its kinda hidden. but its a nice little gem and they do deliver.
