Spectators Sports Bar & Grill

As soon as we walked in instead of being greeted we were told we were not going to be served by the owner. We've been going there for 25 years and we were laughing as we walked in. The owner then rudely told us that we would not be served any drinks and walked away. She was very confrontational and rude. Unfortunately they just lost long-term customers I will no longer be going to spectators. The new ownership seems to be affecting Spectators in a negative way. We went to horse and angel after being turned away at spectators and they mentioned that many customers have been coming in complaining about the customer service at spectators. The new manager is so rude and disrespectful and unprofessional, sadly we will never return. If you are too busy to be able to provide good service you should tell the customers that rather than act as if the customers are doing something wrong.

My friend group and I normally love coming to Spectators. Unfortunately there had been some weird circumstances that came up recently. We entered the bar for karaoke and sang multiple songs within the hour. The bar was busy as it was normally on a Saturday night. After singing karaoke, a waitress claimed that one of my friends was unsuitable to serve. It was only 10:30 and my friend group had only ordered one drink at the bar by that time the server approached us. It was so odd for her to make this claim considering she was serving tables that were cussing and twerking next to tables. Managers and security couldn’t back up the waitress’ claim, however we were still asked to leave under the accusations. Such a weird experience at spectators and I can’t say we’ll be back.

The service here was the worst I've ever seen.. they took forever to take our order, it took forever to bring us our drinks and the food.. I had to go up to the bar to finally get my drink.. it was bad.. I won't be going back.

Went to karaoke on a Friday night, super fun, good spot, the KJ was active and went through the list fast, we only ate chips and salsa because the kitchen was closed by the time we got there, but the salsa was fire. Pool tables and other games available. Will def be coming back

Asked about the burger of the day that's pri ted on the menu says its TBD then recommends the abq burger and when the check comes says sorry we dont have a burger of the day its just on the menu that's false advertising and against the law if you are telling your servers to do this it will get you in trouble do better !!!!!!!

This place used to be one of my favorites, but it’s completely gone downhill since the new owner took over. The rules change every other week, and no one, not even the staff seems to know what’s going on. You can feel the chaos from the top down.

The owner, a nearly 50-year-old woman trying way too hard to act like a 21 year old who owns a bar, is clearly the problem. I’ve seen her stumbling around yelling at customers for standing at the bar or ordering from the “wrong” side of the room. She’s always beyond unprofessional and always appears drunk. However, maybe that’s just her naturally awful behavior.

It’s honestly sad to watch a great local bar get ruined by someone so clueless and self-absorbed. I don’t see myself coming back here. The weekends are dead now anyways. Take your business anywhere else.

Karaoke is a blast show up early to sing more songs

Service was absolutely horrendous and our entire party had to remind the waitress multiple times to get their drink orders. However, the waitress was more concerned with singing karaoke songs rather than actually serving. Complained to the manager to try to get our drinks and the managers informed a member of our party that they told the waitress to slow us down. How can we “slow down” when we barely got two drinks and one shot over the course of 5 hours. Terrible way to treat paying customers.

Never had a bad experiences at specs back in the day so writing this review is a bummer. Got the $6 beer/taco deal but was charged an extra $1 for a flour tortilla, was charged $1 for chicken, and an extra $2 for a “premium” beer. Wouldn’t mind if I was told this beforehand. Also the waitress forgot the fried pickles. Moved back in the area and was hoping this could be a go to place but apparently not.

This used to be a great place for Saturday night karaoke; by now it's just irritating. The KJ wastes a lot of time between singers and could speed the show up by getting people's song requests ahead of time, and displaying the order of singers. Service wasn't very responsive, and the whole experience has a chintzy feel when beer is served in plastic cups.

Lot of TVs n variety of programs. Somewhat typical sportsbar. Good food, selection of booze. Not fancy. Solid choice if you’re it sure where to go. Can get crowded.

Best place in town. Amazing prices! Here on part two! But Jason the new manager is amazing! He is on top of everything and is very attentive to people's needs and concerns. Our food wasn't like it usually is and we have been coming here for 10 years! Jason actually made sure to bring the original creamy green Chile soup back to the original that we had years ago! This place is a gem and surely you HAVE to visit for football! Best places in town for sure!

Oh my goodness. What an awful place this is. I'm shocked it's not out of business. The food is too disgusting to eat and the people who work there are 100% LAME. Don't try to speak to anyone you don't know to make friends with anyone there because they will kick you out for no reason but spending your hard earned money and being a social person. What a fricken joke. Don't bother. Unless you want to be offended of course. The who staff is awful and if I owned it they'd all be fired.
