Do not buy their gingerbread chai. It is almost tasteless.

Drive thru guy tried to tell us we didn’t order here after showing him our receipt multiple times on the app. So my husband went inside and the girl at the front said they were working on it..
Rude employees.
Suck at making drinks.
Don’t come here.

The young woman at the espresso machine was sneezing/coughing nonstop and wiping her nose on her hand while preparing drinks. The other barista was very animated and smiley while preparing drinks for what appeared to be an off shift employee, but ignored everyone else and hit everyone with the annoyed gen z stare when asked a question. The barista with glasses, a beard, and ponytail walked by flipping off the off shift employee in plain view of anyone in the store (there were kids in the store). Tyler is the only barista I recognized and he seemed overwhelmed trying to fill the gaps of orders, he's always nice. There were no napkins, the tables were dirty, and 3/4 employees were clearly annoyed to be bothered by customers. We come here all the time as it's our neighborhood coffee shop, could probably be resolved with an on duty manager. If any of these people are managers, then I guess it's time to find a new coffee shop because yikes.
I used to come to this Starbucks a few times a week as it is on my route to work in the mornings. 2 times last week I placed a mobile order as I usually do, I walked in thinking my order would be ready because I typically place my order about 10-15 minutes before arriving. My order wasn’t ready and both times there was a young girl making the drinks and she was just messing around with another coworker until realizing I was standing there and then rushed to make my order. I could have just ordered through the drive through and gotten my drink faster. I started going to the Starbucks on Southern and Unser to avoid dealing with this but I decided to place my mobile order at Unser and McMahon again this morning and sure enough the same girl was there making drinks. I decided to go through the drive through instead of walking in for my mobile order. I got my drink and oatmeal by the time I got to the window but as soon as I took a sip I could tell my order was wrong. I ordered a brown sugar shaken espresso and my drink tasted thick with honey. I couldn’t go back because I needed to be at work but it’s vey disappointing because I never use to have issues at this location until the last couple weeks.

The staff here is great. The lady who is usually working Drive-Thru is always so sweet & remembers that my mom likes a straw with her Iced Chai. They care about the quality of their drinks & have remade drinks for me without my request before if they make it wrong or whatever the case may be — vs. other stores who will just give you the messed up drink. The customer service is nice. They are friendly people. I don’t love how early it closes, this is the closest Starbucks to me but I’m loyal because these people care about their job and their customers. And their store. The store is always in amazing shape.

Good spot for meeting a friend near Rio Rancho. Easy to get to from Taylor if you want a change of pace place. Not many outlets, if you're looking to use your computer. But, it is not busy inside after 11am most days. Cool architecture on the outside of the building. Outside seating is plentiful when the weather permits. There's enough parking. The plaza surrounding it has a lot of stuff, so this is a convenient location, as well
I keep giving this store chances and it’s bad every time. Last trip I went inside because my kids needed the bathroom and they didn’t have soap. The barista was nice enough to lend me her personal soap since they had none. Then I waited 30 minutes for one coffee and two pastries. They saw I was struggling with two toddlers in the store and prioritized the drive thru and mobile orders. Tried today and the cold brew tasted so weird. I went to another store and it was perfect. This isn’t the first time my drink was bad. Never again.

I just wanted to comment on how awesome this Starbucks location always is. Not only are the drinks made so much better, but the atmosphere is lovely and the staff is so kind! It is my favorite location and I will go out of my way to visit this one even if it’s not exactly within my route, haha! Management, keep doing what you’re doing. 😊
