Food is very good, but going to the drive of windows a nightmare… Very, very long wait a person could run out of gas by the time they get the order!

Stufy’s on Juan Tabo has the best Mexican food we’ve ever eaten!! Decent price and super tasty food. Generous portions and the best chicharoone burritos anywhere!

Much better since the new grand opening. Service is better and they seem to be constant with being open for normal business hours. Okay, update. Tried to call in a order while I was in the drive through. The girl that answered the phone told me she could not take my order. I asked why and she said that they were so busy they were not able to take call in orders. There was 3 cars in the parking lot,, and 3 cars in the drive through. Isn't the objective to make money by selling food to the customers? I don't know how they will last if they are turn away customers! I have been back here several times since the grand opening. They started out pretty good but suck more and more with every visit. I wish them well. I have been going to stuffys for years, I dont think I will be going back anymore. Its a shame, I used to really love the food but that has gone down hill as well.

Both our orders were slightly incorrect (mine was missing lettuce and they gave us red instead of green). The red chile was straight up gross. The rice was crunchy. the sopapillas were okay at least. It says they close at 7 but we went in at 6 and they locked the door while we were inside. Overall would not reccomend.

Clean, but spartan. But, hey, you’re not coming here for the atmosphere. You’re coming here for an authentic taste of New Mexico. The stuffed sopapillas are a thing of beauty. Large, yeasty pocked fresh from the fryer filled with heavenly goodness. Try a #1 stuffed with refried beans, cheese and chile. Or, be adventurous and do a #7 with chile adovada, cheese, and fried potatoes. For the hearty appetite, go for the Special Plate.

A hidden gem ? The food was great and at an amazing price. I couldn't stop stuffing the cinnamon sugar sopapilla into my mouth. We came in with a very large group of special needs individuals and the staff were polite, friendly and quick to serve up the food. With a comfortable family atmosphere this will definitely be a place I return to.
