Subway in Albuquerque

“Went there to get the Happy Gilmore meal which they were out of unfortunately. Food was good, staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. You could tell some staff was waking up which honestly just added to the vibe of everyone being human and understanding.“

“Jimmy made my sandwich today and all I have to say is, that man is an ARTIST!!!! My husband and I come to this location because it’s close to my house and with that we found a gem! Jimmy! He’s made our sandwiches before and my husband kinda grumps when he’s not there but ALL ARE AMAZING at this location. Just Jimmy is beyond words! We talked about how he only used to get the meatball sub and I’ve always done the turkey (exactly the same way) since I started eating Subway and it feels nostalgic. But this one,,, THIS ONE RIGHT HERE FOLKS, today was THE BEST SUB I’ve ever had from subway! Thank you Jimmy!“

“I had given up on subway.. I moved to the East side and ordered at two different shops near the new apartment (Wyoming near Indian School)- app orders were wrong and/or my bread would be rock hard and crumble as I unrolled it. I checked the last time before I left so I wouldn't have trip drive back (or deal with it and just eat it) and again it was just awful... I gave up!

Moved again, near Wyoming and Paseo - just recently someone at work told me to give this location a try. I finally did -
THANK GOODNESS! Immediately, the atmosphere feels better, they even said hello in stead of continuing their personal side conversation.. I was already excited.
It was an app order so I gave my name and got my order and told them how they already won me over. The sandwiches were perfect when I got home. So, now I'm hooked!

“I wanted to comend two employees at the Gibson location in Albuquerque. They were both super friendly as you walked in the door, the female was super sweet when she handed me my food, and the other gentleman, an African-American man, ran to the aid of an elderly man that was having trouble walking. he then proceeded to assist him to his table. unfortunately, that type of kindness is not seen as much anymore. I commend him for his actions and empathy.“

“I think the negative reviews are lies! I went to 2 different subways and one was completely out of toppings, and the other was closed for construction. Came to this location as a last resort and the staff was extremely welcoming, the place was clean and there was a full selection of meats and toppings. Staff was very friendly and made my sandwhich exactly how I wanted without any attitude. They asked how my day was going as well which I appreciated. Thank you, we will be back!!“

“These guys in here are just outstanding. I know they probably don't remember me. But, I've been having a really hard time. Been up days, crying alot. Seeing someone dying is hard. And they don't know what I'm seeing everyday. But the other day, I walked away without my coffee. And yesterday. They kindly took care of me. “Best Subway sandwich ever!!I didn’t get the lady’s name, but she started my sandwich perfectly. Years ago, I, like everyone else worked at Subway & she asked all the questions at once, ending with toasted or untoasted.Len was diligent, attentive, and friendly. I had half of my sandwich be pepper jack and the other American; they asked if I wanted to upgrade for extra cheese… I said no, but I appreciate the offer. He also asked if I wanted it wrapped separately; labeled.. wasn’t necessary for me but felt worth praising. I also love spinach and he, without judgement, gave me as much as my heart desired.They both were pleasant and while it was a short visit we had moments of laughter.As a business owner— I love positive reviews and as an employee I love receiving praise for a job well done.Thank you Thank you both!“

“I really miss the 2 girls that used to always work there. The sisters They would always sing and dance and have so much fun. Environment is not the same without them. Serving me, food was still great. Store s still clean. I will still continue to be here. And eat the subs all the time.“

“Very sweet girl named Trinity served me and my family lunch today, I usually dine in on my lunch break and I see her there everyday closing I am assuming, usually training a new adult which is unusual because she's so young, but she seems to uphold the manager position very well. The Food here is very good, and I hate to see people critique this sweet girl so harshly for doing her job, referring to Sarah Sanchez who is simply too ignorant to understand management has rules and regulations and she is attacking a teenager for simply doing her job, I wish people had more empathy for these kids who are in the workforce because really most of the time they are running the entire establishment, thank you Trinity for the amazing sandwiches and keep up the good work.“

“The workers were pleasant and easy to work with and the food was always good. The restaurant itself needs to hire more workers. Every time I go there is a bare minimum and they are usually serving a bunch of people. Always remember to be appreciative of those making the food.“

“I went to this location a few times to get a foot long meatball sandwich. It was only $7.99 but it went to $9.99 now. I guess it's because of all the fast food competitions around the 98th/Central location area. Or it's owned by a different owner. The staff are really quick, attentive, patient, respectful, and friendly.“

Short skinny redhead, you should wear gloves when handling the bread and when you do have gloves on and making someone else's sandwich you should not pick a piece of bread up off of the floor and if you do please change your gloves, I am not a confrontational person but I paid 13.00 for a sandwich I couldn't eat because your floor glove had touched my sandwich.... ?“

“Went into subway on 8/22 around 4:30. I had placed a mobile order and when we had went inside to pick it up, the young guy working there seemed like he was either high or drunk off his mind. Come to find out, he’s from a different store and works at this location occasionally. My boyfriend and I had to go take our sandwiches back because they were completely inedible. But here comes Luke to our rescue to make our day 100x better. Not only did he accommodate us by re making our sandwiches but he had the best customer service I have ever received at a subway. You could tell he takes pride in his work. Please give Luke a raise because he definitely deserves one!!!“

“My first visit to the Subway at the San Pedro location reminded me of everything I used to love about Subway. The store was super clean, the bread fully stocked (can’t remember the last time I went to a Subway that had all of the bread choices available), the ingredients were stocked and my sandwich was made perfectly. The staff was so friendly, and engaging that for the first time in a long time, i ordered a drink, 3 cookies and I ate inside instead of back at my office. The experience was enormously different than what i have come to expect that it actually feels like I’m not at a Subway. If you know the area and you are familiars with the other Subways nearby, you probably know what I’m taking about.“

“Fast and easy, did an online order and forgot to add something and they asked if I wanted anything else I may have missed on the online order and that saved my butt.

“I went in today and wanted a snack and not a whole meal. I wanted the pretzel and now, Subway quit serving it. The staff was so sweet and kind and very friendly. “So I ordered via the app and still the workers could not get my order or instructions correct I mean really how hard is it to read a damn screen and make the customers order the way they want it HEY OWNER AND MGR CAN YOU ACTUALLY TEACH YOUR EMPLOYEES TO READ AND USE THEIR BRAINS it's not rocket science it's making a damn sandwich. When a customer orders toasted then toast there sandwiches properly when they order light sauce then give them LIGHT sauce when the customer asks you to mark which sandwich is which then damnit mark the sandwiches.“
