Accidentally stumbled in when they were closed and doing a film shoot. The guy behind the counter was super nice and comped me a cold brew (which was delicious) and let me buy a shirt. Highly recommend.
Came in during their Wednesday Bike Night. It was a little sleepy. There were some motorcycles and a few dudes strewn about, chatting amongst themselves. Waited a bit to order a $7.50 beer which tasted quite good (kolsch). Nice little space inside. Bartendresses were nice enough, if a bit aloof. Bailed out after one beer, which went unnoticed. I wouldn't be opposed to returning, but wouldn't go out of my way to do so.
Having a brewery and coffee bar located in an old service garage is an awesome concept. Although the space itself was immaculate and the employees clearly take pride in their jobs, there wasn’t any of the pretentiousness that seems standard at other independent coffee shops. The prices are awesome and I was pleasantly surprised by that. I recommend having a coffee porter and a double espresso; you’ll be thrilled by both.
