Menu was high on the wall and I couldn’t read it and no one would answer questions on that either Because of that I spent way too much sharing because I couldn’t understand the menu and nobody could answer the question about it or even listen to my question

Was first time eating here. Service and food was excellent. If you all have time to relax and you like sushi . Try this place out.
Sushi Freak isn’t bad for fast food sushi. Think Subway or Chipotle where you can watch the rolls being made as you order them and check out. It’s quick and decent.I had a Rooster Roll (soy paper, teriyaki chicken, spring mix, avocado, daikon sprouts, wasabi mayo, and tempura crunch) and a Waikiki Roll (seaweed, coconut shrimp, mango, cream cheese, and topped with toasted shredded coconut and unagi sauce). I didn’t much care for the Rooster Roll, and it fell apart the moment I tried to eat a piece. The Waikiki Roll was enjoyable, and I hadn’t had toasted shredded coconut on a roll before. I enjoyed the mix of mango and cream cheese. I’d get it again.The service wasn’t great. The cashier said they would bring the rolls to our table, but then just called out our orders when they were ready and we went up to get it. Not sure why they’re asking for tips (with four suggested amounts upon checkout) if you order at the counter and pick up your food, but such is the state of food service nowadays.

If you're ordering sushi from here for delivery, you have to ASK for ginger and wasabi. I've never been to a sushi place that doesn't automatically include it. The food was good, but the manager was borderline rude when I called to ask about the missing condiments.

Ordered the Gunshow sushi burrito and I loved the flavor. The spicy mayo dipping sauce was great and it’s a pretty messy hands-on meal but a fun novelty food experience! I recommend coming with friends :) p.s. it’s self bus! It’s not super obvious, but remember to clean up after yourself.

Not great! The order is queue is not super willing to take your order so I found myself at the cashier with only drinks and she had to go back and put my order. The food is trrrible insipid, mushi and overall not flavor found a solid meh ?
I came here because I didn't want to get served at a regular restaurant and the concept is cool but the quality is bad, employees aren't friendly and I didn't enjoy my sweet tea or poke bowl. They didn't have any good toppings for the bowl, just go to the cevecharia I'd you want a bowl.

The employees seem very disgruntled. Not really sure why this particular day the gentleman and the young lady both seemed very bothered to be there.But sushi is good, just dont be in any rush when going.

I absolutely love this place. Such a smart business model, such great service, value, and food! I love everything here. My friend doesn’t love sushi but loved this place, there are actually plenty of non-fish options. The guy making our sushi was hunky and so sweet. For 35$ we had way more food than we could eat and all of it was fresh and very high quality.

The owner had always treated us great.HOWEVER, today things weren't so grand. First of all, portion sizes have significantly become smaller. EX. I have recently (pretty much my regular) been ordering the Ninja Nachos on rice(an offered option in place of the wonton chips), add Unagi. Then I ask for spring mix. The Unagi is of course an upcharge, but I've never been charged for the spring mix. Today I was charged for the spring mix, sprouts, AND the rice as a custom!!! What I normally pay $10.95 + Unagi upcharge of $2.25 was just under $20.00!!!Not to mention, the kindness that we've come to expect and enjoy wasn't there either. My bowel used to barely contain everything, now it's just barely over ½ full. Thinking we will not be returning. Sorry, but I think your changes have ran away a good portion of your loyal followers. Very disappointed in everything!!! I wanted to purchase a tumbler, but not now.Heed this warning if your a regular. The burrito sizes are much smaller as well. I could over hear chatter and others were saying the same thing......EDITED 12/16/2023We are now visiting Sushi Freak again. We are very pleased. I understand prices go up. So, if expect price increases. For what you get I believe the prices are pretty fair. The quality is great. While the burritos are still smaller than when they opened, the quality is still 100%. As I said in the other review, blame COVID. It changed everything. The atmosphere is comfortable and quiet. You can find and purchase Asian sweet treats and they are quite affordable. The folks are kind and accommodating. The only issue was the dining area could have used a bit of cleaning. Nothing bad.Go and grab a bite!!
