Very slow sushi place order are placed in advanced and when I come and pick them up they not even done picking them up I’ve waited 20 minutes more extra till they handed my food

My boyfriend picked us up some sushi from here on Monday 12/15/2025. Our food was pretty sloppily presented and fell apart. Pretty much just sushi salads. The Miso soup tasted like dish water. But worst of all was the piece of TINFOIL that was in one of my sushi rolls. My boyfriend also mentioned how disorganized the lobby was. I would recommend avoiding this location if you're looking to get sushi on the Westside.

They always take a long time to make the order. Even when you're the only customer there. They are also constantly out of ingrediants and it doesn't have the same quality as Louisiana streets sushi freak in taste. I'd make the longer drive if you want good food.

This place needs some serious managerial oversight. No chopsticks, no soy sauce, the menu screen wasn’t even turned on and the two employees definitely seemed out of it. This was at 5pm on a Friday night.

Do yourself a favor and take the trip across town. (Impossible to be the same owner) I've ordered from here probably a dozen times and EVERY SINGLE TIME the order is incorrect. Never once has it tasted the same as the last. This time was just plain disgusting...

Put in a doordash pick up order and waited an hour.
Went up to the lady at the front and she proceeded to ignore me for 5 minutes until finally asking me annoyed what I was there for. I showed her my doordash pickup and she said she would barely start making the order after another customer's. I went and sat back down near the register and waited another fifteen minutes when I got a notification that my order was canceled without her even telling me anything. I wanted to just leave at this point and she stared me down as i walked out. She had brown hair, tan skin and a bandanna on. Never going back so disappointed. There was also a line to the door the whole time i was in there and the service was so slow people kept walking out. Management: have more people working at once if it takes that long to prepare orders and teach your employees basic customer service skills.

As soon I walked in the store Harper greeted me with a huge smile. Autumn did a wonderful job preparing my crunch roll. Brendan was really friendly as he took my payment at the cash register. Sean came out of the back and wish me farewell and told me to come back.

Food is great but if you want to stand there for 30 minutes you do that if you have time, usually you’ll see people in the back hanging out and 2 or 1 person by him/her self making sushi and no I’m not using they them no such thing only 2 genders but they took to long but food is great

Did an online order which still took 20 minutes past the pick up time I was given. I walked in wasn't helped 2 girls decided they'd rather whisper in each other's ears then help customers. 1 guy was doing all the work he had to ask a girl more than once to ring up a customer because he was off the clock. I walked to the counter told the lady my name for the order while the guy working off the clock is making my burrito. I sat and waited while my food was on the counter I was then asked by one of the workers if I was waiting on food I had to tell her I had the online order. This store is a complete mess!

Wow! Its been over 4 years since I have been to sushi freak, and my goodness I applaud them because they managed to stay exactly the same. This is the exact reason why I had refused to give them my business years ago. Rude atmosphere, they did not greet any customers who walk in, employees hardly talk to each other, and when I was waiting on line with two people ahead of me, both employees awkwardly and rudely avoided any type of contact whatsoever... even though the cashier is standing right in front of us! Not even a reassurance about their order, time, or reason for the delay. She seemed to be making herself look busy, it was insanely awkward. I stood their for a while trying to give them a chance but even the customers felt awkward about their demeanor. I couldnt tell if the others were waiting for an order they already placed, but both seemed to be standing there waiting to be helped. And even if they were just waiting for orders to come out, I wasnt addressed at all. It was so awkward how it was extremely quiet, atmosphere heavy, with only 5 of us in the restaurant 😂 and they managed to pull of being so rude to all 3 of us customers at the same time. I turned around and left because I was absolutely flabbergasted how immature this restaurant was.
