We always love this place, it's the freshest sushi in Albuquerque, and the AYCE concept works great, enabling the table to get a variety of differing rolls as well as nigiri. Whenever anyone suggests sushi in the northeast heights we always think of Sushi Gen.

Chicken teriyaki is what I ordered. What I got was dry chicken fried with panko crumbs and a clump of white rice with a bottle of teriyaki sauce on the side. It was awful! No flavor. Huge disappointment and they still charged me for it!!

I absolutely love this place! I went here with my partner and we really enjoyed everything on the all you can eat menu, especially the sashimi! The price was amazing, around 20$ per person and we ate until we were stuffed! The staff were so attentive too. A super fun date night and really affordable for a sushi place. We were so determined to try everything we even got sweet bao after stuffing ourselves with sushi and they were shaped like hedgehogs- so adorable and delicious!
