These food was pretty bad. The yakisoba especially was bland and over priced. It’s like they literally just boiled some ramen noodles and threw some chicken with it and called it a day, no flavors at all just noodles and chicken. My dog wouldn’t even eat it.

We always try to stop here when we're in the area. Great prices. Love the bento boxes and the sushi. Wonderful hot jasmine, green or oolong tea served in a beautiful teapot. Attentive service.

We placed an order for a gathering ($250) at 5:30PM with an estimated delivery of 6:00PM. I called at 6:45PM only to be passed around, told they will not make my order, and I needed to cancel. During the exchange the restaurant hung up on me twice. Avoid at all costs. Later I received a text saying “it’s unexpected busy this evening”. Unacceptable.

Using a.i. in their advertisements is misleading. I honestly can't speak to the quality of the sushi but if they have to us a.i. generated images something must be off. And it's just plain disappointing. a.i. models are built on exploitation and have massive energy costs to generate one image like this.

Me and my boyfriend come here often and we LOVE IT!!!!! The service is amazing and friendly. It's locally owned which is epic.
The food bangs. I am a vegetarian and have absolutely no problem eating here. This place is fantastic and awesome for date night. The vibes are on pair and I love eating here. It's also reasonable priced for the quality.

We had good sushi rolls here and the service was nice. Ask them and if possible they will make anything they can gluten free.

Sushi in Albuquerque is hit or miss. Sushiya is a big hit. Good quality fish and expert sushi making. Rice is properly seasoned, warm, and correctly portioned. My go tos are the shrimp tempura roll and salmon nigiri.

Some funny quirks, like sriracha on the spicy tuna roll, but that's ABQ for you.

Ordered carry out 5pm 6/01/2025, $75+tax+tip. NOT GOOD. Rangoons, the flat kind, smear of filling, just thick dough, no crunch, barely warm. Orange chicken just soggy goop, way too much breading, 2 square pieces of raw green bell pepper. Fried rice had brown, dry, shriveled egg pebbles, NO flavor, and forgot peas and carrots. XOXO Connection, paid for extra mushrooms, was one mushroom in dish, about two tablespoons of watered-down sauce, basically just lots of nearly raw broccoli, carrots, celery, onions. Ginger was not fresh, old, dry, brownish. Fried dumplings were not freshly cooked, barely warm. Ginger salad, brown, wilted, one tiny teaspoon of dressing in middle. Hot/sour soup just glutonous broth, no substance. Asked for no utensils, got tons. Lady who said she was an owner was rude, argumentative, refused any refund to credit card, finally said I could come and get gift certificate for $20 but only if today. Have been eating in and carry-out here for over ten years, has gotten progressively worse. Have also eaten lots of sushi and rolls here. Huge rice to tiny fish and filling ratio. Seaweed wrap is thick and tough to chew. Seafood is sometimes dry, like it was pre-cut. Tempura is waaaay too GREASY! Menu(s) are kinda confusing, dishes not well-explained or innacurate. Food inconsistent, depending on cook. Iced tea tastes old, is cloudy, barely iced. Don't eat here on Sundays. Are they trying to get rid of their leftovers as they are closed Mon, Tues.? Don't order online because if they mess it up, there are no refunds. Good luck ordering carry out by phone, depending on who answers that can be frustrating. Too bad this once really good little place is not anymore.

Ordered Kung Pao chicken and it did not disappoint. Chicken was moist and tender and the heat was pushing my limits in all the right ways.
Lunch special pricing is almost too affordable.

Service was great, very fast, very pleasant, zero fussiness.

We enjoyed our meals and will be back! Bento boxes were delicious and our food was very fresh, and we especially enjoyed the monkey balls appetizer. Service was great, friendly and quick. Prices are so reasonable too.

Sushiya is a Japanese name, yet more than half of the options on the menu are Chinese?!? This place is about as Japanese as a hamburger.
