The man who helped me was very kind he recommended the collard green soup and fufu and it was delicious! I will most certainly be back!

The food is delicious and the owner is an amazing woman. Pounded yam with peanut soup is my older son's favorite food. Been eating here since it first opened at their first location. Best Fufu in the city!

I love African food and was looking forward to this restaurant Unfortunately everything missed the mark. The first time we came a few hours before closing online it said they were open but when we arrived the owner was driving out and just said they were closed no explanation. Stuff happens so we didn't pay it any mind. The second time we ordered the sample platter with goat meat and okra soup with fufu. The okra soup had no okra and the there were only 2 small pieces of goat that tasted burnt. The jollof rice was not good either. No one could finish the food.

Customer service is garbage but the food is bomb. Would give a 5 star but I settled for 3 because it is not the cook's fault. Please employ a more respectful front host who is willing to go over the menu items with new customers and not sneak in incorrect charges. He's too jaded. But otherwise, the food was delicious! And the fufu and collard greens are amazing! 8/10 recommend. I would like to go again, but the host needs improvement.

They were busy preparing food for a catering event when we got there, but where still able to prepare food for us very quickly. The man who helped us was also very nice. The food was delicious, i highly recommend it!

By far the very best dinner I've had in Albuquerque so far. The injera is soft, flavorful and a bit sour and the chicken, collard greens and lentils phenomenal. They're still take out only so I took my meal to Gravity Bound brewery just a few minutes drive away and pair it with a great gose beer. Phenomenal dinner thank you. I've rarely had an injera so full of flavor and soft. Super recommended.

I called in to order and when I got there the place was closed. They do business strange at this place. Also they never have Jamaican patties.

My boyfriend and I were so excited to eat here as my boyfriend is Nigerian. The woman working was so sweet. However, after getting home and looking at our order we were more than disappointed. For the price of $50 plus tip, we should have gotten WAY more food than this. This is absolutely ridiculous and I'm so sad to saw we won't be back. We love to support black owned businesses, especially being African ourselves, but I feel like we were ripped off!

No Dine-In/ Pick-up Only Everything I ordered was excellent! 1. Goat Meat Pepper Stew, Injera, was incredible and 2. Injera Bowl: Chicken, Lentils & Collards really hit the spot, totally satisfying. Delicious, fresh and soo good. I'm so happy Talking Drums made it through the pandemic.

Jamaican patties and ox tails are a must...they stopped making them. Rice is plain with no peas and jerked chicken is a breast not off the bone like expected.

When i asked the lady for jollof rice and curried beef - she responded "No". Why couldn't she accomodate me? All she had to do was charge me extra and i would've happily paid. That's bad business on her end. She lost a customer. All she had to do was tell the chef to put curried beef over the jollof rice. I asked her what is the difference? The curried beef comes with white rice - all she had to do was substitute it.

I really wanted to like this place. I was so excited to try their puff puff and Jolly rice. I had called and placed a takeout order, they said nothing about missing items on the phone. But when I got there, they only gave 20% of my food in my order. And the portions are really outrageous for the price they're asking. It makes me really sad to give this review. I hope they do better in the future.

Over priced and small portions. Rice was not traditional Caribbean rice and peas but rather a Spanish rice. Vegetables was frozen soggy green beans. Soup small size over priced for barely 2 cups of soup. 1st and last visit. Not worth the price.
