This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Albuquerque. Every bite is magical. If you order something that is not fried, most soupy dishes are even more delicious the next day. I didn't think it could get any better, then it does!

Iced tea is real, not bitter or an overly sweet mix.
Pad thai is delicious
Spring rolls are nice sized and refreshing. I will absolutely go back, often.

One of the best Thai restaurants we’ve been to in ABQ so far. Fresh ingredients, tasty goodness. We’ve only been there once, so far, thus the short review. But we will definitely be back.

Ate here 11/20. came in around 13:30 to a busy restaurant and thought wow, maybe this will be good. Got a seat about 10-15 minutes later so not bad, so far, ordered egg rolls, the pork pad Thai, hot but not Thai hot, and a cucumber salad. Received my egg rolls in 3 minutes, so I know they were pre-cooked and sitting under a hot lamp, they were the standard pork egg rolls that you can get from any grocery store freezer isle nothing special and definitely not hand made. The Pad Thai was bland, mushy and uniformly brown, again probably pre-cooked and warmed up by chief Microwave. There were hardly any vegetables and what was there were mealy and washed out, there was a touch of heat but it tasted like it came from Cayenne powder rather than fresh chilis. I never received my cucumber salad and had it removed from my bill later.
Service was fine, nothing wrong, but also nothing special either, waitress refilled my drink quickly without being asked so that was good and gave me no pushback when I told them about the missing salad so another plus.
Overall a nice restaurant, busy at times but standard low to mid quality food that doesn’t represent anything special about Thai cuisine. Would be unlikely to give it a second thought.

Thai Spice is my favorite Thai restaurant in Albuquerque. Their massaman curry and rice is my absolute favorite, and if you’re looking for the best pad thai in ABQ, you’ve found the place. Wonderful service and kind people. Just beware, as someone who thoroughly enjoys spice, do not take their spice labels lightly! Hot = HOT
