Thai Heritage and Vegan

I thought I had previously left a review 5 years ago and wanted to update it. Regardless, Thai Heritage and Vegan has some of the BEST Pad Thai in all of Albuquerque. During my DoorDash days, I tried every Thai restaurant’s Pad Thai, none have come close to this one. The balance of flavors is on point, Thai hot is too much for me these days but level 4 is perfect. Skip other restaurants (Fan Tang makes terrible Pad Thai, tastes like ketchup) and stick with something more authentic.

Craving tom kha gai like you wouldn’t believe the last few days.
Coming in I was warmly greeted and taken care of.
The soup brought me back to my childhood and was hands down the best.
You can’t have noodles and Tom kha gai without Thai tea! Which hands down completed the meal. With Thai tea flavored dessert. :)
Will definitely be spreading the word of how this Thai restaurant is the place to go to in the Albuquerque.

The ordering website is helpful because you can exclude certain ingredients, but my order still included bell peppers which I specifically didn’t want. A little frustrating when they get your order wrong.

The veggie potstickers are very good as is the papaya salad. The larb salad is also very tasty. However, I was very dissapointed in the small portion of Larb for $16 in my doordash order. I am still hungry!

I had the lunch special pad Thai, which comes with two small vegan spring rolls and salad. It was delicious, especially with the garlic chili on top.

I don’t usually order pad Thai anymore because it usually comes with eggs. This was an egg-free version.

The mango sticky rice dessert was the best I’ve ever had.

It was not very busy at lunch on a Wednesday and food came out quickly. Very cute large space inside. Very clean bathroom.

Recommended dishes: Pad Thai with Tofu

This place smelt like sewer all around. It felt like I tasted it while I was eating. They gave me a menu with no silverware I had to get up and grab my own from the pile

The vegan tofu chicken nuggets used to be delicious, made in the restaurant. It is clear today's nuggets are a microwavable purchased item. Like cardboard. Must be different owners than years ago. A shame.

Cute spot. The vegan Thai iced tea was one of the best I’ve ever had. We were the only customers there(Sat 8/30, 3pm) The server was great! She was on it and very friendly. They mix the brown and white rice and shape into hearts. We had the yellow chicken curry, veggie spring rolls, fried soy chicken, tofu skewers, and fries. All very tasty! My 6 year old was done with his curry, rice, and fries, and still wanted to “drink” some curry. Ha!

There was a bad smell near the cash register. I think it's just because there is a floor drain that is dried out so they have sewer gas leaking into the building. I ordered the vegetable soup it was delicious.

This place was better than I guessed walking over from Zazz. Parking lot is closed off now which means street or walking but the food...it was really good. The server was very attentive. The decor was nice. I only give 4 stars because 5 is for way over the top but this was delicious. Highly recommend.

I needed to take some Omni family members out to eat. I was really appreciative of how almost everything could be made vegan. I had a truly excellent red curry! However, they made a small mistake in our order and didn’t seem interested in fixing it. Service was quite slow as well. I would come again!

I love Thai food! I was pleasantly surprised by the fun atmosphere of this restaurant. Great decor, tons of greenery! The food was great and it was brought out to me by a waitress with dark hair. I can’t quite remember her name but she had a piercing on her cheek. I just wanted to give her a shout out because she provided great customer service! My food was brought out very quickly and tasted amazing! I will be back!!
