Let me preface this by saying that I am a wedding planner and I eat a lot of wedding cakes. (It might be my favorite part of a wedding!). I can usually control myself and just take a couple of bites of a cake, but when Cake Boutique is on the menu, I want two slices please, lol. In all seriousness, Birdie makes DELICIOUS cakes, she’s the nicest person I know, and you want to book with her.
Birdie is amazing! I decided to switch my order up and turn the cupcakes into the centerpieces, which she ran with and made come to life. She also built me an adobe house cake which was beyond adorable. The cakes themselves were incredibly moist and flavorful. The flavor verity was great and she really thought out the combos and what goes well together. 10 out of 10 all around.
As a photographer, I see (and sneak a taste of!) a lot of wedding cakes and The Cake Boutique never disappoints. Their cakes are absolutely stunning and taste just as good as they look. Always beautifully designed, on time, and a total showstopper in photos. Love working with this talented team!
