The food here is beautiful and tastes as good as it looks. They have lots of gluten free options. Prices good considering the quality of the food. My wife and I love this place

Stopped in for the first time and really enjoyed it. It’s a no frills, casual environment at a decent price. If you order the chile, you better be used to eating local, authentic chile. That shit was hot as it was delicious.
I’m definitely coming back.

This place doesn't look like much but wow the food was very fresh and tasted great! Very tiny dining area, but wasn't busy so we lucked out.

Our experience was great. The chancla plate and the turkey sandwich with a cinnamon roll and two coffees. First the price point is way amazing. We eat for less then 45$ with tip. The food is absolutely delicious. Turkey sandwich , the bread was so fresh , the sandwich was full of really fresh ingredients. The chancla plate , oh wow . I say this is a must try plate. So many good things to say about this plate. It hard to say where to start with this. So good…. Ok here I want to talk about the fluffy and delicious cinnamon roll that paired so perfect with the coffee. I do highly recommend the cinnamon roll👀💯. Overall we enjoyed our meal and the chancla. We traveled from Placitas to Gibson just to try this restaurant and we were in no way disappointed.

This place feels very cozy and down to earth. I might have ordered too much food for one person, but I think it was worth it my inner glutton was very happy. I got a hazelnut vanilla latte, a soup and sandwich combo and an apple crumble cinnamon roll. The latte was rich and delicious. It wasn't overly sweet or too over flavored. The sandwich was a turkey sandwich on green chile focaccia with avocado lettuce and tomato and cheese. The soup was a broccoli cheddar soup with bacon sprinkled on top. Both the soup and sandwich were pretty big you could easily split this meal with someone and get full. The green chile focaccia was special. It was light fluffy and not too oily or greasy. The soup was creamy and cheesy, I do wish it had more broccoli though. Lastly the cinnamon roll with apple crumble was pretty big. It was served warm. It made me really feel fall vibes. Everything was delicious. It was a little pricey for me, but I did order a lot of food. Between two people might be the better plan. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The space is kind of small so keep that in mind when going there. They also have some out door seating available. All in all, it was a great experience.

The Chancla is definitely a hole-in-the-wall, but unfortunately not in a good way. The place is downright dirty, and believe it or not, they only have two paper menus for the entire restaurant to share. That alone should’ve been the first red flag.
Customer service? Atrocious. It felt like we were inconveniencing them just by showing up. There are far too many amazing brunch spots around to settle for this level of disappointment.
Save yourself the time and go somewhere else. This spot is trash, and we won’t be back.

Wonderful food. Amazing staff. They ran out of the tres leches French toast and the owner graciously gifted me banana bread French toast. So absolutely sweet.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the Best Breakfasts We’ve Had in a Long Time!
Chancla absolutely blew us away. The “Elote” and “505” Eggs Benedict were incredible—rich, flavorful, and perfectly executed. We paired them with their kale salad, and honestly, we would go back just for the salad. It’s that good.
The cinnamon rolls were next-level: smothered in cream cheese frosting with your choice of apple, peach, or strawberry topping. Total perfection.
If you’re in Albuquerque, this place is an absolute must-try—and truly worth the drive. Just make sure you get there before 10 AM, or you probably won’t get a seat.
We will definitely be back!

Stopped in for lunch for the first time today. I had the elote benito (oops, took a bite before realizing I had better take a photo of it). It was great! Light, fresh, unique, colorful. Loved the tomato and kale salad that came with it. We also tried the tres leches French toast, which was sublime. Fans of the erstwhile Tía Betty Blue’s, you need to check this place out! Same location, different restaurant/owners/concept, great food.

Do you love brunch? Do you love well executed food? This is arguably the best brunch spot in Albuquerque (including El Campo). What's best is for someone with celiacs disease, this place takes gluten free serious and crafts delicious food. This is a family run restaurant that does it well. Don't let location stereotypes run you off, the food and atmosphere is amazing!
