I had the green Chile cheeseburger, it was delicious! The Chile didn't make my bun soggy, burger was juicy, fries were good. The lovely cashier had the cutest northerners accent Wisconsin or Minnesota.

Manager is very rude and unprofessional. Wade was behind schedule all night making people who had reservations wait we waited one hour pass reservation time and told we would have to wait because they were not ready not a good valentine's gift thanks

Our reservation was for 6:15 didn't get seated until 6:45. Sat down for 20 min and no one has acknowledged us! Had to wave the busboy to call a waiter to take our drink order and we already knew what we wanted to order for our dinner but they still took at least 15 min go come by our table. Busboy finally came by again and asked us for our drinks and the. He said the waiter would be by to take our dinner order. So we waited and waited finally Our drink were brought out but still waited. Finally close to 8 pm they took our order. The waiter said how sorry he was but they were really busy and it was they first day open since Covid pandemic so it was a lot. No manager came by the whole night to ask how everything was which I thought was strange since the place is small and only 15 tables. Good was very good and great taste but service was horrible.

Lady who took our order was great ..The greasy old granny who brought our order to the table sucked . Got mad at me cause the order was wrong .Apparently she’s the manager. The younger girl might May have sniffed glue. The food is pretty decent . The service sucked . She came back to the table to say sorry but should not have acted that way .

After driving 55 minutes to spend a fun evening at the downs we get hungry. In the downs Cafe we were subject to the most incoherent staff member I have only seen in films. Looking at the menu we notice an item that didn't look like the one we got last time. It's seems the phrase, "how do we get nachos that look like that because last time it looked like an overpriced gas station nacho". This poor lady was so confused she describes what we had last time. As they come out they look like the picture. Maybe that's what should be done before hiring...match pictures. The receipt says her name is Diamond. Now she has failed at 2 jobs. Kicked out the dollar bill hotel and got lost at the what r nachos inn.

The placed was closed when we arrived for our reservation, Open table needs to get their act together with this restaurant so not to accept reservations when a place is closed down, what a waste of my time and gas.

The restaurant was closed, even though we had a reservation. From what the casino front staff told us, they close if there aren't enough patrons to keep the kitchen open. However, they never told anyone, including us. So there was no dinner. I wonder how this place is managed.

Prices are great and the food is better. Thus far, we have had the beef chimichanga, taco salad, Frito pie, Chile cheese fries, and green Chile burger. All bears repeating but there are not enough days in the week

After an opening day at the downs the snack bar was a perfect late night snack option. Drink lines were pretty long at the track. I learned minimum bets are $2 so you can have fun without spending too much.

Apparently COVID has taken its toll. At one time I considered this to be one of the top restaurants in the City. We arrived with a party of six for an important birthday dinner on Thursday - I had tried at the last minute to add three more people but they said it could not be done. Much to our surprise, we were the only party there all evening (we left about 8:00). The reason we could not add anyone is that they did not have the staff available to serve only our original six, since we were the only reservations (I guess the word is already out). The whole evening was saved by a delightful Waitperson, Kenni. She was also the hostess, the bartender, server, and even cleaned up a couple of broken sorbet glasses that fell when they were being served. The prices for the various meals were expected high end (Lobster, Filets, Porterhouse and Salmon), but the overall quality was low and most of the food was served room temperature. They explained that the food warmer had broken and they did not have a replacement. They graciously removed the Porterhouse from the bill, but gave it to us anyway (treat for the doggies). The scalloped cheese potatoes were the memorable standout of the evening, along with the attentive and delightful service by Kenni (who informed us it was her last night there). Dennis, the chef also prepared some nice Cherries Jubilee and Bananas Foster at table side, and apologized for the other miscues during the evening. Overall, how sad, because the Crown Room had been a wonderful "escape" for us in the past from other restaurants in Albuquerque.

You have to go through the casino to get to the restaurant which means you have to get carded to enter the building. It felt a little institutional. The Wine list was OK, but no vintages listed, staff not able to make specific pairing recommendations. The wines by the glass were (as mentioned in prev reviews) not abundant and not great quality. The staff was very attentive and sweet and definitely were trying to make it an excellent experience. Bread was brought immediately to our table and was quite good. We ordered the chateaubriand and it was cooked perfectly. It was listed "for two" but it was brought out on one plate and we were given an extra plate to divide it ourselves...I found that odd...I expected it to be carved tableside as I have had in other restaurants. Would have liked to tried the flambeed desserts...they sounded delicious. Glad we tried it, doubt we will go back.

They canceled their Mother's Day brunch without any notice. People were showing up for their reservations only to find out they were not open. No text message, no email, no phone call. I asked to speak to a manager and they the person at the players club said the manager was busy. Awful experience.
