I highly recommend this store not only for the quality of the tea and the serene beautiful atmosphere, but also the friendliness of the staff. We tried the afternoon tea for the month of June. If you get a chance to book this experience it is not only incredibly creative and delish, but I was blown away by the quality of what we received for the price. It is by far the best price for afternoon tea in ABQ. I cannot wait to see what menu they put together for the month of July!
Great little Japanese tea shop. They have a nice selection of loose leaf tea for sale, they offer hot cups to go, and some classy teapots and related accessories. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area!
Was not expecting this place at all! A nice women runs and probably owns this with a having a passion for selling tea. Very fun and honestly very well priced store, with loose leaf tea bags costing less than 0 dollars up to 20 which is a good range and price! She also offers free treats and samples! Wish I had photos, sorry!
Great selection of teas. So many to choose from. They sell the tea in 2 oz bags as a minimum.
What a gem of a place! If you want authentic tea and teaware, this is the place to go. My wife has been buying from The Fragrant Leaf (online) since they opened. This was our first time visiting in person. They were so kind and knowledgeable.
*LOVE* this place. The tea selection is very well-curated, prices are good, and the couple that own the shop are always friendly and helpful. A little gem in our neighborhood.

Bought expensive jasmine green tea at their store and found a couple of black short hair in the leaves :( Disgusting. Also, some leaves look not fresh once they open up. Will never come back to this place.

A smaller shop than New Mexico Tea Company with its own selection of teas. Teas are very good. With no bulk discounts, they are very expensive for regular tea drinkers! A good place to get small amounts of deluxe tea or a cup to try a new favorite. Otherwise, you'll save almost 50% at NMTC for similar leaf.
Wonderful teas! Some of my favorites are the lemon chamomile mint and the tumeric chai.

Great small tea place. They sell hot or iced cups of tea-to-go for around $2. They have a wide variety of teas to choose from ranging from black to white, all of which are available for purchase in loose leaf format. The owners are very friendly and are fun to talk to! They also sell various tea equipment, such as Japanese tea cups, tea pots, and matcha bowls. I would definitely recommend this place for most things tea related!
The tea options are fantastic. Very unique, bold flavors. The lapsang black tea is my favorite. Will be back!
