Really wanted to like this place. This is my second time having their food and for sure my last. First time was unremarkable, bordering on gross. This time the food was actually inedible. The brisket was dry, tough, and texturally comparable to wood chips. No flavor either, besides grease. Also got catfish, which was bland. Cooked well though. Their homemade drinks were the best part of the meal. They are always good! Will come back for those

Great local BBQ. The gentleman who took the order and made the food was awesome. He was out of shrimp n grits but still was able to sell me some grits. Brisket and sausage was tasty. Both BBQ sauces were good. The potato salad was really different in a great way. This will become a frequent visit.

Good old fashioned barbecue. Absolutely delicious 😋. Have been there several times and each visit was terrific. The brisket and sausage are amazing. Catfish was incredibly delicious. They were very friendly and worked hard to make everything exactly how I wanted it (I like my catfish and fried okra a little more crispy than some folks. Highly recommend and know that you will not be disappointed! 😁

Very disappointing. Extremely dry pork and expensive. The icing on the cake was how rude the woman working the counter was. Looking for a good local spot, unfortunately this is definitely not the place. The hunt continues

Got the sausage sandwich. Only issue I had was it was a long sausage and a round bun. Maybe cutting the sausage in half would help?

If you cook with love it shows in the food. We got the meat sampler. "Hell No, to the NO NO NO". Pulled pork was not cooked today and had foul flavor and extremely dry. Brisket was filled with a scorched, not burnt, bark and this meat was not fresh either. The ribs, decent size for half rack, were barely warm, just slightly reheated so the fats were like eating leftovers. The sausage was days old and the quality sad. The cornbread was definitely not cooked today and though flavorful, too dry to enjoy. The Mac and cheese was reheated and substandard. Banana pudding used fresh bananas and nilla wafers with box mix, no extra love. The beans were delicious! Solid flavor and the star of the show. For over $50, impossible to advise this for BBQ by what they offered today. Highly disappointed. The woman at counter, who is co-owner, was advised of this being our first time and was not the least bit interested to follow up with our dine in experience. Zero customer awareness or just didn't care.

Oh man, what a hidden gem of delicious BBQ!!! The brisket is tender and smokey. Ribs are meaty and plentiful. The service is top notch and the absolute best! The crew know they're product and can inform those with sensitive diets what they use in their sauces or seasonings. Best BBq in Albuquerque!

I stopped in today. This was my second time there. The first experience was good. However, today I didn't even place my order. When I walked in the girl behind the counter was finishing talking an order. She said she would be right with me. That was fine. She went to the back for several minutes then all I could hear was her cussing out someone. This went on for far too long. She never came back so I ended up just leaving. This is a had way to stay in business.

Had their soul food sandwich and fried chicken sandwich. Both were delicious and reasonably priced; looking forward to going back!

The best greens I've ever had, other than my grandma's. I need to figure out the recipe.

Make sure you check every wall, the menu is all over the restaurant. Highly recommend the sausage, brisket sandwich, and the catfish. The mac and cheese is delicious, and the collards are a nice change from the fatty variations find throughout the city
