We used to love this place. We probably won't be back. Had reservations for NYE, was also our wedding anniversary. With my reservation I added some of the romantic add-ons including flowers for my spouse. They placed a hold for the items on my credit card, so I thought all was ok. Now mind you my reservation was early in the evening. (6pm-ish) We arrived early, and immediately were told that they couldn't accommodate my requests because it was such a busy night. Yet...
We have been going for years. The food, service and ambiance, as always, is excellent. However, the years are starting to show. The place really needs some remodeling and a little updating work. I still highly recommend it.
We were lead to a private, comfortable area. Our server, Roy or Ray, immediately welcomed us and explained the process thoroughly to us first-timers and helped us make choices for each course. Great attentive service. We enjoyed all four of the courses. The only "challenge" is the meat course. Our waiter did give us some general time guidelines for each entree.
