Went to this Cafe for the first time in Alburquerque, went with a party of 9 people. Had to make reservations even tho the Cafe was not busy, the food was Cafe food was dissapointing. Our waiter KEITH was phenomenal due to the circumstances he went up and beyond to fix mistakes made by the kitchen and made sure our party was taken care of, the server was overwhelmed due to other staff members that were just standing around. A few mistakes were made and I'm sure it's because he was so overwhelmed. Keith had phenomenal customer service even tho he was the only server taken care of 3/4 of the Cafe by himself, was very polite. There was a guy standing behind the pie counter wearing a kanga that would just stand and stare at us not even assist his server with a large party, made us feel completely uncomfortable. If the Kanga guy was so interested in what was going on with our party he should have assisted his staff rather than staring and giving creepy grins to our party from a far. I would not recommend this cafe unless you want meh food. KEITH was great, kanga guy needs to get a hobby. Water was fresh, queso was awesome, chips were very chippy, guacamole was good, do not order the artichoke dip it had no flavor, no cheese. There was no kid menu offered to our 9 yr old. Very very disappointing for our large party, and rhe amt of $ we spent. Keith you rock, thank you for trying and doing your best in the situation u were placed with your coworkers.

Last time we step place in here (I’d understand if you guys are busy and low on staff) but this was not the case. Weak management.

I had a great experience at the Range. The food and service were phenomenal. I had the chicken fried steak. I always order the chicken fried steak across the country, because if you can make that good then I will highly rate your restaurant. Their chicken fried steak tied for first place in my book at the places I have been to. We also had one of their cream puffs. Those things are so huge I had to bring it home with me to finish later.

I stopped by the range this morning for a quick meal. There was no wait, which was great. I had the chicken fried steak with green chili gravy, and it was amazing. Although I usually find the potatoes dry, adding the green chili gravy to the fries made them delicious. The service from our waiter, Lexi, was excellent. Thank you, Range, for a tasty breakfast & excellent service.

We can to have a nice breakfast on a Sunday morning and it turned out to be the worst experience I’ve ever had our waiter waited until 15 min after we ordered to notify us that they were out of biscuits so we ordered something else I had gotten the green chile chicken egg chiladas and it came out cold! Definitely don’t like the range cafe and will forsure never be coming back EVER!

First time coming here I am a longtime resident!!!! Beware Worst food establishment in Albuquerque. Chip appetizer horrible salsa has beans in it The chile is horrible no flavor and not hot. The crowd is a gringo vibe. How in the world do you make carne adovada with no chile. Yuck the pork inside burrito had no chile. Please tell the chef they need to marinade the pork in red chile. Also the Ranger fries they call it are like burnt fries. So hard and the toast just burnt dangerous to eat with your teeth so hard. Don’t expect refills it just won’t happen. You are better off going elsewhere save your family from a stomachache like no other. The prices are just not worth it. Now if your gringo then the place is probably the one for you. If you can’t handle heat and like bland food with little to no flavor seasoning come here. I feel robbed completely stole my 100$ I wish I could get a refund this is horrible

Ordered the chicken enchiladas breakfast, I think they took the enchiladas straight out of the refrigerator and served them to me, without even bothering to heat them, the food had no seasoning, and the green chili had no flavor, the bloody mary was pretty

Overall not bad, but as good as I am used to from the Range. Two of us got the Biscuits and Gravy. The gravy had good flavor but had the consistency of mashed potatoes. My GF asked for cheese on top but did not get it. The waiter was energetic and friendly, but slow on service. Coffees and Iced teas were empty for long periods of time. Also took a long time to get dessert to go and the bill. The decor was quirky and fun as always.

This is the first time that our service was THIS bad, so I’m hoping it’s a one time thing, but it made my family and I miserable. Our server did not have many tables so we were confused as to why he never checked on us to update on our food and why it took longer than an hour to come out. For 4 people, this is ridiculous as every table after us was served their food and given refills multiple times. We ended up asking for our food to go as we had plans and weren’t expecting to wait this long for our food. I’m disappointed that our server didn’t seem to care about the inconvenience and he said very little to us with no apology. We were even asked to move our entire table (physically move the table and chairs) to accommodate another larger group that was dining there (which we did without any hesitation), so we felt like the respect was not reciprocated.We frequent this Café often and hope this was really a one time thing. After taking the food home and warming it up, it of course, was delicious, so they got that right.
