The food was good enough but they double-charged me and were never able to do anything about it despite multiple calls.

It would’ve been good if they had changed the oil in the fryer vats between lunch and dinner There is no mistaking old grease. Disgusting.
Service is always fast. Atmosphere hasn’t changed in years.

Staff is always friendly, the vibe is always low key and quite. Enjoyed the freshly made burgers and love looking at the decor.

Everything was okay bordering on being good. The onion rings were nicely cooked with a nice batter crust. My burger was juicy and the green chile had some spice to it. However, both were under-seasoned. I did add salt and pepper which helped highlight the meal. there was just something missing. Almost like it's opening shift on a Sunday and the cook wasn't putting in much love in their cooking. I plan on coming back to try it again. $20 for a meal is a bit steep, but they don't ask for a tip. So, that's alright for me.

Our first time here so we were hoping to try different things. They were out of chicken sandwiches, steak sandwiches, and shakes. So we stopped asking. It was our first time so not sure if this is the norm or not. Cashier was not very friendly although the cook that brought us our food was very friendly and courtesy. The prices are extremely high for what you get. A single bacon cheeseburger and 4 onion rings was $15. We got steak fingers that were OK and chicken strip platter that was way over cooked. They were like 14 each I think. The restaurant was very hot although it was clean. The burger was very good but not worth the price almost $18 with a drink. Maybe they were having a bad day maybe this is the norm I will never know because I will definitely not be back. 1 and done for us....

Restaurantji Recommends
Came here with my brother because we were craving a good hamburger. Rex's makes the best green chile cheeseburger in Albuquerque! We got the combo which was about $15, very reasonable. The staff is passionate about their business and the results are great food, a fun, clean atmosphere, a full belly, and a new regular customer. Run, don't walk to this place!

Great burgers. Support local businesses
Simple food done really well. I like ordering here because it reminds me of the little burger joint I grew up with in my hometown. Consistent, friendly, and good prices.
