So my first one got taken down cause I’m too much of a realist so I’m gonna make a new I went to that restaurant for my birthday with my dad who been outta town for months I was the first one there I asked for a table of three the man at the counter said 5 min he had to find a table It was 30 min later he finally sat us and got mad at my brother by saying they were busy which they weren’t the damn host was having a conversation with the cook instead of doing his damn job he was extremely rude when we asked for a fork for my brother cause he’s not good with chop sticks and said something under his breath the waiter was nice about it he apologized for everything he was awesome good waiter food was not the best kinda mad that it wasn’t what it looked like in the menu so yeah not worth oh restroom was awful well looked like no one bothered to clean it so yeah not gonna spend my money there ever again and all honesty that place needs to get investigated for mice cause there were mouse p*** in restroom

We enjoyed our lunch ~ the complimentary miso soup was very good, followed by gyoza, spicy tuna roll & an avocado roll. The restaurant itself is very nice looking and our server was very pleasant. We will return.

This is a large, bustling place with your choice of either teppanyaki (hibachi) tables or smaller regular tables in the sushi bar. The teppanyaki (plate grill) food is fun and tasty, with the usual chef's show to amuse you while it cooks. The sushi bar has both real bar seats and also serves to the regular tables in its separate space. Anything on the menu can be delivered anywhere in the restaurant, of course. We've eaten several meals here, with pleasant results every time. The sushi is always of high-grade fish, with some imaginative rolls and combinations. The teppanyaki has been of the same quality. We recommend the place.

Three of us went for dinner tonight. I ordered the salmon bento box and they had three different rolls. We all had miso soup and mine came with a salad. The miso soup was quite yucky. The salad was a bag of salad from Costco with a LOT of ginger dressing. They really enjoyed their rolls. My bento box was quite nasty. The salmon, while yes I realize it is fish, was WAY too fishy...so much none of us could eat it. The egg roll was slimy inside. The California Roll was tiny and tasteless. The tempura was ..ok. Shrimp was good, other not so much. I won't be going back.

This old TGI Friday's location finally turned over and morphed into a very gorgeous Japanese restaurant with first class decor and beautiful interior architectural elements such as water features and interesting lighting designs. That said, they should work on having hosts with some degree of personality and a more welcoming attitude. Our waiter was excellent though, but the staff at the front end were a bit unpolished lets say. Lunch meals were very good and priced well.

I don't understand the recent extremely low ratings at all. My wife and I had a very nice lunch at Tokyo Hana and both thought the restaurant and the service to be excellent. We were seated immediately, our server was attentive, the food tasted good, the soup was hot and prices were reasonable. If I have a complaint or two that does not mean I am unsatisfied but rather that I thought such a nice restaurant could be better yet. So I think the salad had way too much dressing on it. Maybe some people would like that but we'd probably rather have our dressing on the side. And my fried Calamari was tough, edible but tough. Maybe I just got a bad batch, who knows.. The wife loved her chicken and my sushi was quite good. The decor and cleanliness bot got high marks from both of us. Will we go again? You Betcha....

I have never had such bad, dried out sushi. It was as if the sushi were made the day before and left in the frig to dry out! Rice seemed to be partially cooked. We bought $50 worth of take-out Sushi - and we found out how bad it was after we reached home. If we were dining in then we could have complained. I would not recommend this place.

It’s not just the food the customer service is horrible. Complained about the way something was cooked and had the chef come out and yell at me. Expensive not worth the trip trust me. Soup was cold and the cook served and extra plate ( food is pre portioned per order) to someone who didn’t order a plate and I had to share my food with my kids because they can’t portion correctly. Then also gave me under cooked chicken. So if you would like to be yelled at after spending 80 dollars this is the place.

This is a new business with a promising future. Our lunch was delicious, affordable and fun. Great teppan experience. I was surprised when they sold me a quart of their ginger dressing .

As the only patron at the sushi bar, I hate to feel as though I'm in the way, interrupting the staff's conversation. One fellow spoke only Chinese. He waved in his pal, whom I asked about bento box. I asked another, where you guys from? Leaned over the sushi cooler. "AMERICA." Okay. Leave the staff alone to themselves. I wanted to know-do you have any personal experience with Japanese food? It's not showing in the kitchen. Dishwater miso, over-boiled udon with scraps of carrots and stringy beef. Couldn't ruin the raw salmon nigiri. Look, three miles away is Sakura, that makes real Japanese like mom used to make the kids. Don't go to this faux food place with pictures of Japan on the walls. Bitchin' bubble display in the entrance.

New restaurant in North Albuquerque near the Cottonwood Mall. Stopped in to see what all the construction was about and found a great restaurant. Very nice atmosphere, attentive staff and a large number of choices.

Very nice looking place. We were seated quickly and had our drink orders taken and delivered...and then we waited. Not sure how long this restaurant has been open, but the staff really wasn't ready for a Saturday evening rush. Opted not to sit at the hibachi table, and maybe that's why. Our food took a long time to arrive, and the meal was incomplete. Never received the miso soup, and the salad was an after thought. We ordered the dinner bento boxes, and there was a lot of food! The tempura pieces were heavily battered, and had a satisfying crunch! They offer a 10% discount for seniors over 60 years of age, a nice plus.

We dropped in for a late lunch yesterday. We were seated immediately in a booth and our male server came over to take our order. My hubby ordered the Terayaki Lunch Bento and he chose Salmon as his meat and I had the Tempura Lunch Bento and opted for Shrimps. Surprisingly the server brought us white Miso Soup. The soup was of the right flavor with seaweed and tofu. Then another surprise when our server told us if we cared for a salad and when queried if it was part of the meal he replied that it was. He wanted to check because he said most of the customers did not bother with their house salad but the curiosity made us want to check it out. When two bowls of fresh looking nicely cut veggies dribbled with a light creamy dressing were brought we took our first bite. The salads were real good and flavorful.... the dressing was actually homemade sesame ginger light mayo and with a hint of lemon juice. Tell me who would reject such a delightful house salad???? Then the biggest surprise a third one was sprang when our bentos were brought to our table. My hubby's lunch was what he had ordered but mine was not. I was stunned when I looked at my Bento box.... it was Shrimps sitting on a bed of onions in Terayaki sauce and not TEMPURA. When I checked with the server he replied that it was Shrimps in tempura sauce which was ridiculous! Lucky for him that I was not a fussy or picky customer and having been a restauranteur in my younger days I just shrugged off his comments and disappointingly accepted my lunch. Unexpectedly the Shrimps in Terayaki sauce was unexpectantly well done. So the surprises turned out to be good ones after all. As this restaurant is new the Management still has a lot of work on training their staff on taking orders and repeating them to avoid mistakes!
