This is a fun very busy sort of classic New Mexico place to eat. There's one in Santa Fe and one in Albuquerque that I know of. The food is wonderful New Mexican food and I think the service was a little affected by the large crowd. Anyway I highly recommend it

Our waiter made me think I don't ever want to go back no matter how good the food is. He took forever to take our order didn't see how we were doing if we needed anything after our food came n then is chatting it up two tables away facing us. We calmly waited n tried to get his attention even waving our hands in the air n still looks at us but keeps talking. When he finally came we said our drinks he blames it on somebody else not bringing them. It was awful service
I wanted a smaller portion of something. Decided on beans, burger meat, posole and red chile.. it was so yummy. Hit the spot.

Great place but greater staff ! We go in to see Trish … best bartender in ABQ ! Always welcoming….always CONSISTENT. Her drinks are a work of art … something you typically only get when you go out of town!

We had a wonderful experience at Tomasita’s Restaurant in Albuquerque. From the moment we arrived, everything was top-notch. Our server, Alvaro, was fantastic, attentive, friendly, and truly made us feel welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, with great flavors and quality in every bite. The entire restaurant was also clean, neat, and well cared for, which we really appreciated. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend stopping in!

They had a pice on channel 13 and the owner did not have a hair net or gloves on but was touching the food. Oh My!
