Came here because it was on My Breaking Bad Tour...Pollos Hermanos! Lot's of memorabilia here for the show. Don't expect to find Gus or fried chicken here. They may have the curly fries though. It's mostly a Mexican Fast Food place. I had a chicken burrito and it had way too many potatoes in it. It really wasn't that good but we figure we would support the establishment. A really cool place to visit if you are a fan of the show, but the food is really disappointing. Take it with a grain of salt.
I have been wondering why this restaurant has not closed. for several years I have been wondering when will we in New Mexico get a Locally owned franchise that has a menu that provides local flair that knocks your socks off? There is nothing on this menu that provides even a distinct flavor that will resonate with your taste buds. It is unfortunate that one must go to a Mcdonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Carls Jr, Kfc, Churches to get a tasty morsel. Unfortunately I get tired of national franchises....It seems California is the only state that has locally owned restaurants that provide unique menus with WOW flavors!
Twisters has good breakfast burritos, in fact, they have at least 10 different burritos and you can even build your own. They also have great mango smoothies. I used to eat here a lot because they also participated in the Delta Airlines Frequent Flyer Rewards Program but they seem not to anymore. Now I eat here less.
One of the worst breakfast burritos I've ever had. Texture was awful: a bunch of glop. Horrible pasty tortilla, wasn't even rolled properly. So bad that after a couple of bites, I tossed the mess, even though I was really hungry. My bad, really--there's a ton of great places in s. valley, too many good ones to mess with fast food junk. Live and learn.
Service was actually great. But if a company has the audacity to charge a dollar for a tiny side of salsa you would think they wouldn't include long strains of the employees hair. Kinda killed my meal. I usually don't ask for refunds but if your food made me throw up, i draw the line.
Came here for a Breaking Bad stop. At just before 11am the place was almost empty which was great for taking pictures. There’s some memorabilia and an original ’Los Polos Hermanos’ sign on the wall. We tried to order drinks but were completely ignored by the staff. We stood waiting at the counter for at least 5 minutes and then decided it wasn’t worth it so left. This may have just been a bad day but I doubt it. They were clearly very understaffed. It looked like there was only one guy in the back dealing with drive through orderes. If they can’t cope with three small groups inside and a couple of cars I can imagine it would be even worse at meal times. I’d stop by for a picture but don’t bother trying to get served. The food didn’t even look that good.
The food isn't gourmet, but it was good. I had beef tacos and I was happy with them. Most importantly, if you are a Breaking Bad fan, you will love it. Twisters is the actual name, but this is the location the show was filmed in. There is some memorabilia and posters, and the woman who took my order was still wearing the Los Pollos Hermanos apron. There are a couple of photo ops and you can sit where the characters did in the show. Yes, it's cheesy, but as a fan of the show, I loved bringing it to life.
I had never tried Twisters before, so I was looking forward to trying it. My order was simple. Green Chile cheeseburger with curly fries and a soda. I waited a long time for my order. They serve the good in a Styrofoam container. So mark them down on minimizing their eco foot print. The food inside was so disappointing. The burger was put in the box lopsided with the top and patty half slid off. Most of the green Chile wasn't even on the burger and it was the mildest green Chile I've ever had. No spice to it at all. The fries were really bad. Soft, luke warm. Blah. Don't bother stopping here, just keep going.
Correcting the mistakes made by their employees on orders without having to wait days and make it so complicated. Very frustrating and unprofessional. Will not be going back to this Twisters again.
Twice they screwed up my order. The first time they gave me some bean burrito instead of green chili bacon breakfast burrito. After six months, I tried again, and the same order - green chili bacon breafast burrito, they left off the green chili. Terrible place.

Google maps lead to the back of UNM and there’s nothing, so I had to hurry to get lunch but got there and had to turn around and go to another place. But besides this thing I like twisters
I had the Indian taco and It was the worse thing I ever ate from there!!! The dough had a taste of being freezer burnt and is was so soggy!!! I ordered 2 of them and both were disappointing!!!!!
My husband and I stopped here for breakfast on our way through Albuquerque. I chose this spot because it's where a couple of scenes in Breaking Bad were filmed. I had a breakfast burrito and it was greasy and gross. My husband enjoyed the french toast sticks. They had a small Breaking Bad section where you can sign a guest book. They also have the "Los Pollos Hermanos" sign still up when you walk in.
love their Carne! best Mexican food.
