Do not go to this location, at all. The “chefs” do not know their menu at all. I ordered a burrito that was supposed to come with rice and potatoes in it, instead, I got just a plain been and cheese burrito. Then, my husband ordered the Scorpion sandwich without the lettuce, tomato and pickles, they charged us for the ultimate, and gave us the non-ultimate sandwich instead. Like really? Then, the girl taking orders isn’t the brightest either, and I had to explain our order more than once, and it was a basic simple order, not complicated. Go to the location closer to the highway on Juan Tabo.
Love it!

Big portions. The tables and chairs weren't clean. Dead bug on floor inside entrance.

First time in ABQ NM and stopped here in the drive thru for lunch. Very friendly staff and had the most delicious burger from a fast food place in forever. I will be back here again very soon without delay! Thank you!!

This review only applies to the Juan Tabo location.
I have been coming here on and off for years and the same problems persist, clearly the store manager does not know how to train employees properly and the district manager needs to get involved.
I ordered 3 burritos all with simple modifications. I had to repeat myself about a dozen times and the girl at the drive through was mumbling and rude.
For $25:
Add beans to one, get charged for beans, no beans. Add bell peppers and onions to another, get charged for them, only a tiny sprinkle of onion and no bell peppers. Ask for extra sausage on the last burrito I cut it in half and the first half I picked up didn’t have a single piece of sausage. So instead of extra sausage they just put all of the sausage on one half.
On top of that the food is ALWAYS cold and needs to be heated in the microwave when I get home and the potatoes are often hard as croutons.
They have given me free food in the past when I have complained but the free food is always made with the same level of care… which is none.
I need to stop going back thinking they have fixed their issues.
Great service at the drive thru. Food was all hot and fresh. We love the hard tacos, smothered shredded chicken burrito & enchiladas and churros. Green chile is super hot and delicious

The one place I wanted eat at when we got to Albuquerque was Twister. Ordered BEEF Twister w/ green chili. Got chicken and couldn't even find the green chili. Of course it ended up in the trash. Will Never eat at Twisters again. Truly disappointed

Food's decent, but takes way too long even after ordering online and with no other customers. Order from a different location

Restaurantji Recommends
My burrito was $12 and smaller than my palm
Food is pretty good, restaurant feels cheap inside, compared to other chains that have modernized. DO NOT order for pickup through their website, it asked for my DoorDash login. And then processed the payment while at the same time adding on a $5.95 staff tip charge. I’m happy to pay this in most scenarios, but to have it automatically add it while I’m paying seems really scummy. And if someone were to order this and not have extra money for a tip, I thinks that’s bad business practices. And for that, I will be ordering at the drive through window from now on
I've had twisters before ...this location has the smallest burrito I've seen ..it was so thin like a roll taquito. Never stopping at that store again.
Food was fresh and fantastic. Highly recommend the chile burger and Indian Tacos 🤤
The drive through burritos got smaller since covid..... kinda ridiculous, because potatoes tortillas and all that is all cheap.Burrito places make the most money in the restaurant business in Abq
