I have always looked at Saggios‘s as my ‘go to’ for Italian cuisine. Recently, I was extremely surprised when I ordered a sandwich at the size, and quality of its ingredients. The sandwich was enough to have lunch and dinner for two days plus it comes with a choice of salad, chips or pasta. You have to try it out.they will not disappoint.

The pizza is fine but not as good as the other location. The biggest difference is the service, or lack of. There is a sandy-blond girl who really should find another job. She's rude and has a sour disposition. We found a long hair in our food and when we brought it to their attention, she had a bad attitude. Also, when I spoke to the 'manager' he just doesn't care about the customer. Do yourself a favor and make the drive to the UNM location, you'll not only have better tasting pizza, but they will treat you right.

Pretty decent, but the location near UNM is better. Our Mediterranean pizza was okay, but they don’t have the red chile crust at the Uptown location. Our other pizza was also fine, except that an entire slice was missing the cheese and toppings. I think the location near UNM also has more personality. Maybe this location is for people who are a little more… bland? Still, it wasn’t awful, just not as good as the other location.

Honestly I’ve had better food from Fazoli’s

Came her with my parents, appetizers were good but the shrimp alfredo was clearly frozen (I normally don’t have an issue with this but they could’ve added something to it so it didn’t taste so bland). My mom got the shrimp scampi and they completely doused it in red chili flakes so she asked for a new plate in a to go container. It didn’t come in the container, no biggie, but they also didn’t put any shrimp on it so my mom went and asked for some and they accused her of eating the shrimp and then trying to get more for free, when she denied it they proceeded to ignore her. Not coming back here. Also a few of the employees were stoned.

Bruschetta the highlight. The pizza was good. We had pepperoni, Canadian Bacon, and green chile. The beer could have been colder but ok. I was a little disappointed that I was only allowed 3 drinks.

Restaurant is located at Coronado Mall.
The restaurant owners have been around for a long time and formerly known as nunzios pizza. The pizza has always been great and continues to be great.
We ordered usually 2 to 3 large pizzas with different variations of toppings and all have turned out great.
The spaghetti with meatballs is usually good.
The shrimp Diablo is always good.
And the pasta salads are always good.
Unfortunately the help you are forced to employee are rude, lazy and disrespectful.
We have been customers for almost 40 years and will probably continue to eat at your locations but not too many people will tolerate lazy, rude, disrespectful employees.
Maybe ask management to better manage. The locations are nice and the food is great, just not the staff.
If not for the staff i would give them a 5 star constantly.

I have only been to the one by the university a few times but this location is SO MUCH BETTER! Every time we went we would have to wait for tables. Today we came in and there were plenty of tables available for us. Staff were friendly and it was pretty relaxed and quiet and not overly loud. It has such a nice vibe there. Also the food was delicious. I didn't remember to take pictures before eating but it was so beautiful as well. I would definitely recommend coming here. Make sure to save room for some dessert!!!🍰
