I heard this was the #1 Speakeasy in Albuquerque, NM. I believe it is! From calling ahead to get a password, to arriving at the relatively unsuspecting front door, to being greeted by a person in prohibition era clothing and acting, to walking through a hidden door to sitting down in the perfect atmosphere and being attentively attended to by the staff. The food equally matched the service. My new friend, Santo, showed me around the VIP area. Just might become a member. Eddie, the Piano Man, was phenomenal. Can't wait to come back!

The reservation process is annoying, and I ended up cancelling because before you confirm, it says they require you to buy an entree. I would have probably spent more than what an entree costs on 2 appetizers, soup, salad, multiple drinks, and dessert. If people are being cheap, have a minimum bill amount, don't restrict what you can get off the menu. I don't want a big steak, I would rather try a bunch of different little things. Ridiculous policy.

Everything was so perfect. My husband who was celebrating his birthday loved the food and enjoyed the place. All staffs were professionals. We definitely are going back. The food was so awesome and delicious nothing over powering. Thank you for making it so wonderful.

The ambience atmosphere everything is just so exquisite it's wonderful beautiful it's so quiet in there they have live bands in each little section of the place I mean it's you walk into one room into another room into another room into another room each room has his own little band there's a bar in one room there's multiple scenes in the other and then there's like I guess the group seeings in the back and it's just amazing it's cuz I love it I don't regret going there at all it was the most fun I have had in Albuquerque in a long time I just love it it was something different that was not of New Mexico tradition and it was just it was so out of place but it was just so awesome

I absolutely love Vernon‘s speakeasy. I have came here for many years for many different occasions and they never disappoint. The man that answers the door is hilarious and starts this experience off great. The rest of the staff are also great, that atmosphere and the food is amazing. Would recommend over and over! Thank you for making my sister’s 18th birthday so special!

Absolutely amazing experience I went for my 1 year anniversary and it was absolutely worth it the experience and the atmosphere amazing. Let me tell you the food was even better! Don’t shy away from desert trust. 👌
Service and atmosphere is great, but we have eaten here 3 times and had to send back steak ordered medium rare that came out well done 2 out of 3 visits. Everything is over salted. We wanted to love this place, but sadly we can't endorse a steakhouse that can't get the temp correct.

This place will blow your mind! We have speakeasy’s in AZ but this one blows them all away- I can’t wait to come back- and when I do I’m wearing my flapper dress. Atmosphere is just spot on. The staff is phenomenal and the food and wine, are amazing as well! Well worth every dime!

Food was nondescript and menu was lackluster, at best. Restaurant needs thorough cleaning and renovation. You can still keep retro vibe, but food doesn't have to taste like it came off a Sysco truck. Anyone heard of Farm to Table? Vernon's is not it. $280 for a party of 2, which only included 3 drinks. Much better options in town.
