Freezing cold in there so early in the day. Meal was cold by the time we got done. Don't turn the fans in so early. Prices are pretty high there now!

I went there for a quick lunch during a teacher PD day based on the recommendation from fellow teachers. Atmosphere was pleasant enough and our server busted her butt trying to take care of our large party. For all of the great reviews of this place I was really disappointed with the food. I ordered the Philly Steak and Cheese and it, I don't know how else to say it, was just bad. Meat was dried out with no juciness to it at all. Cheese was almost nonexistent as well as the peppers. The bun was tough and tasty chewy. And all for the great price of $13.99. I was in a hurry and was really hungry so I just got through it but I don't know that I would ever go back.

We had a wonderful experience at Vick's. We hadn't been in quite a while, so we were glad to see that the same great, down home style meals are still available. The service is still top notch, and the atmosphere hasn't changed at all. Do yourself a favor and get over there and grab some grub! You won't regret it!

Been here 3 times in the last few months. Have yet to find something I can complain about. The food tastes AMAZING and fresh. The servers are friendly and helpful. The only issue is have ever had was with a senior bus in the parking lot. But that does NOT reflect on my opinion of Vick's.

I ate there today, July 7, 2025. They must’ve recently changed where they get their bacon and they no longer make homemade spuds. I’ve always loved their food. That’s no longer the case.

Top review is my old 5 star review for when they had customer service, the 2nd review is the newer 1 star review due to their current lack of customer service. Used to be one of my favorite place to eat. no longer, last time trying to eat here today, if you were thinking of eating here, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, WEK's has way better customer service and they are right on juan tabo not that far away

It is not on the menu, but on Fri and sat evening they will make the yummiest chicken fried chicken. The ribs and the prime rib are also delicious, and they have one of the few buffets I like Sunday morning. THE BUFFET DID NOT SURVIVE COVID UNFORTUNATELY.

Update, this place used to be amazing but has went downhill considerably. Customer service used to be 5 stars and I will no longer be eating here. I am highly allergic to beef and pork and was asking to have the breakfast turkey from the skillet added to a burrito, I was totally willing to pay whatever extra cost was needed, the owners wife came out and said no you can just get the skillet cause it is offered and, even went out of her way to say i coukdnt put a lunch meat on a breakfast item when i clearly asked for the turkey from the breakfast skillet, not a lunchnitem.was very rude to me and my wife, so we got up and left, WEK'S isn't pretty clos

We love coming here- usually. Today was an exception. Our queso came out and it was very cold. My husband is allergic to green chili so we asked for only red on his "Lone Star" came with green buried under the red. Our grandson had cold macaroni and cheese. We had no service and they werent very busy. We had no refills on drinks. We Not sure WHAT was going on but it was definitely NOT their day. We will be back as normally it's a lot better outcome.

Had lunch with some friends and it was pretty good. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. Tried the green chile gravy and it was also pretty good. I think I saw two tiny pieces of green chile in the gravy, I don't know if I would recommend the green chile gravy over the regular gravy. The only difference is there is a bit of spice but I think you might be able to attain the same spice with some black pepper.

This place will be placed easily in the ranking of the top 5 best brunch places in Albuquerque! They were excellent with both food and service every time we went there. My personal favorite is their carnitas and cinnamon rolls.
They have large parking lots and seating. We never waited there for more than 15 minutes to be seated even during weekends. Which is very exceptional for a place like that in ABQ.

Service was great. Portion size for the price was not great. Small plate for $13. The potatoes were burnt.
