Went there cause I was asked to meet there for Thanksgiving Breakfast, it was nice, the food was good and the 1 on 1 interaction between my friend and the waitress was delightful.

Haven't been to Village Inn for some time, and this experience was excellent
Breakfast at Village Inn. Our waiter Edward was very rude. He made unnecessary rude comments about how much my wife ate, saying her plate was so clean it looked like she licked it. She ordered water and he said - I have to deliver real food to people and you have me running around for water. This is not the first time we have had a bad experience with this waiter. He made comments to our adult children saying they are probably unemployed, paying child support. We are in town for a few days, wanted to eat dinner here one day, have now changed our mind to avoid any more harassment from this waiter. Too bad - the food is good but the waiter makes this an uncomfortable place to eat.

I ate here because just about everywhere I stopped at on a Wednesday evening @ 6:30 was packed and had up to an hour wait. There were probably three tables with people eating... not a great thing to see, but I always liked their pie, so that's a plus. I had the turkey dinner. Overall, pretty decent. Real mashed potato's, the tasted good and the stuffing was good. The gravy was all over the meal and it was very salty. Less salt in the gravy would have made the meal better. The key lime pie was excellent. My server David was very nice and prompt with service.

Ate with 3 people. Food delivered wrong. Eggs were gross and covered in cinnamon. Tipped 30%. Talked and drank coffee for a couple hours. Manager and bussers lorded over us and complained to other customers we had been there too long. Despite several other open tables in the restaurant. If eating and drinking for 2.5 hours is enough for Village inn "managers" to complain about paying customers, maybe they should change the name from "INN". And people have no reason to go back for the bad food and rushed service.

Been going to Village Inn for decades! Since high school ,and I'm in my 60's we had a very understanding waiter! And he was well compensated for what he probably thought was going to be a cheap customer's He got blessed for the thanksgiving! Good place to eat !
The food at the Village Inn is always great. This is more of a suggestion than a review. Thanksgiving November 28, 2024, improvement is needed. Turkey should be sliced not chopped up sweet potatoes or mashed offered the portion control cranberry sauce was very sad, dressing home made on the side not piled up under the turkey. Gravey on the side as requested not mixed in with the turkey or dressing. Rolls not biscuits, and your choice of a piece of pie. Presentation is just as important as quality.
