Honestly? It's breakfast food and it's good. The service makes it great. We go to see our waiter. We were die-hard Weck's people, but Edward won us over and we cannot wait to see him! If he sees us, he'll have our drinks at the table before we can sit down. He is a rare find. If you go to this Village Inn, make sure to ask for Edward.

Food was basic but good. Restrooms were clean. The whole team worked together. I asked a waiter named Edward to get our waitress, and he asked if there was anything he could do...?...He didn't say ok and disappear into the kitchen like other places. He stopped and helped us. We needed napkins, and he got them and asked if we needed anything else. We told him no, and he told us to enjoy our food, and he was smiling! You don't see people smile anymore. We saw our waitress Evelyn taking food to another table, but she came over right away to make sure we were ok. We were treated like friends by everyone from the young man who took us to our table to the manager, who stopped by to check on us. The place was busy, but all the people working were smiling. I'm going back to enjoy the atmosphere.

I take clients here to eat lunch and talk about their home loan process. This place has really gone down. The only two good servers are koriana, and crystal. It is embarrassing the way the other servers act. The last time that we went in a server named edward and samantha were bickering back and forth about whose table it was. Like, are you serious?This is freaking embarrassing. The management that was talking with them was just laughing and not doing nothing about the situation. Obviously, whatever corporation or owner runs this place really needs to take a better look at their employees. Definitely get you some new servers and get rid of edward and samantha, they are definitely bringing down the clientele to your restaurant. It saddens me that people like this way. Also, your management was not up to par. Sorry for this negative review, but the people in Albuquerque should know what goes on here and if it's worth them, spending their money at this location.

Me and my mom went last sunday to eat lunch. We were seated in a section with a heavyset girl named samantha. She was very rude and rushed. My mother was trying to figure out what she wanted, and samantha seemed like we were wasting her time. Finally, when our food came out, she brought it to the table and excuse herself to the table next to us. It seems like she was more interested in showing her tattoos to a table, then to providing service for us. She was also very loud. We can hear her in the back when she went to get our food. When we asked to speak to a supervisor or manager, she gave us a very dirty look and asked us if we were done eating that she could cash us out. I told her we would pay up front, but she uh told us that we pay her on her little tablet. We will not be coming to this location anymore even though it's five minutes from our house. That lady seated behind us, told us that samantha always is rushed and is more interested being on the line in the back being loud instead of serving her customers that was from another customer in her section.

My daughter and I have been coming to this Village Inn for years!!! The food is always good. We always make sure we’re seated in Samantha’s section. She pays attention to her customers, she knows our order before we even sit down!!! She asks about our day and is genuinely interested!!! I would say Samantha is the reason why we eat at the Village inn on San Mateo!!

Our Waitress Samantha was the best server we’ve had by far. The moment we walked into the restaurant to the very second we left she was absolutely amazing. If you ever come here to eat request her. She brought out the order fast and refills without asking. Awesome service and we’ll be back for sure as always!
