Had my delicious, cooked to perfection Chorizo Skillet within five minutes of arrival on April 27th even though the restaurant was very busy. Generous portion of chorizo, with the potatoes and eggs cooked just right. I had my fluffy and tasty piping hot pancakes delivered after the Skillet. Karrianna our server was prompt and gracious. Way to go Village Inn!!

Had breakfast with my Mom, and everything was delicious. The hostess greeted us with a hello and welcome to Village Inn. She then showed us to our table. Our waitress was very nice and greeted us with a hello and smile. She proceeded to take our drink and food order. She was fast and efficient and took care of our every need. We had a very pleasant experience, and we will be back to eat there.

I had a ham and cheese omelet with hashbrowns and pancakes, and my Mom had the Denver omelet with hashbrowns and pancakes. She (my mom) said the Denver omelet was good except the bell pepper wasn't cooked.

I was disappointed with the Patty Melt. Bread was toasted too much, (very hard to bite into) I had a difficult time eating it(very hard to chew as the bread wad so hard) I was asked by another server (not mine )if I wanted it re-made, I said no because I thought it would be a hassle to have it re-made, (I think in hindsight, I probably should have had it re-made). I also felt like I was rushed to order the food, as we just were seated and hadn't looked at the menu, when the server asked almost immediately if we were ready to order or did we need a few more minutes, we said a few more minutes and not 5 minutes later the server asked if we were ready to order ( we were), but it felt rushed. There weren't but approximately 4 or so tables while we were there and it wasn't busy at all. My companion's Chef Salad had a few soft tomatoes and not really a mixture of greens, just chopped Iceberg lettuce for the greens.
Red chili smothered breakfast with chorizo was excellent. Ask about the heat of the chili. I like it hot and it was almost too hot but still tasty. Server was excellent, friendly and attentive. Bathrooms are small but were clean. Will definitely return.

We had fish for Good Friday of Lent. It was very good. We had a good time and enjoyed the waitstaff. We received free pie at the end which was "icing on the cake," so to speak. Thank you, Village Inn!Vegetarian options: Fish fry Friday is tasty and fun!Dietary restrictions: If one has gluten sensitivities, be careful with egg dishes because flour is added to them. Just ask and the waitstaff will guide you.
