Vinaigrette Reviews
We are here at Vinaigrette in Albuquerque, NM. Fantastic place to eat!!! Our first time. We are from Sacramento, CA. We had the duck tacos, gumbo soup and the duck arugula with creamy goat cheese…super tasty!!! Love the decor, it was bright, relaxing and cheery at the same time. Our waiter, Christopher, was super!!! He was cheerful, polite, very interesting person to talk to, had some wonderful info about Old Town, and overall good guy!!! Thank you Christopher for making our...read full review
I have been coming to Vinaigrette for years and loved it, but something has changed. My family waited an hour for salads and mac and cheese and bread. (The bread never arrived). There was no explanation or apology for it taking so long. In fact the waitress said waiting an hour for a meal was normal. This was at 5pm and the restaurant wasn’t even crowded. I have never paid so much money for such poor service and such little food. Absolutely horrendous.
I’ve been a few times. A pleasant atmosphere, Fantastic food with on point service.

Vinaigrette, a restaurant known for its positive reputation, has left several customers disappointed, though recent reviews highlight some improvements. The food has been described as mediocre, with meals such as gumbo, chicken, and tuna melt falling short of expectations, while others like the Asian Chop with Cilantro Lime Shrimp, Beet salad with chicken, and pear, blue cheese, and seared tuna salad were fantastically flavorful and generous. The gumbo had only one small shrimp, while the chicken tasted like reconstituted freeze-dried food. The tuna melt was served in a small size, resembling finger sandwiches, and the omega salad lacked dressing. The "corn chowder" was described as flavorless corn water. The lemon cheesecake was the only exception, being a highlight among the dishes. The restaurant's drinks, including orange cream soda, were criticized for their lack of flavor, though the Cucumber Pepito soda and hibiscus tea were delicious. The service was slow, with customers waiting long periods for their food, but recent visitors noted a friendly staff and a quiet, shaded patio. The atmosphere was noisy, making conversations difficult, but the curated, sun-drenched space with reclaimed wood and pastel hues offers a refreshing, if pretentious, vibe. Overall, experiences vary, with some customers disappointed and others highly recommending the place for its great food and stylish setting.
