The food was very good! We went to a Waffle House in Kentucky a few years ago so when my boyfriend saw it in passing he wanted to eat there. The food was hot and tasty. And of course he had a waffle with pecans. LOL The waitress was excellent and patient. The place is nothing fancy, just good food and nice wait staff. I would definitely recommend it.
First time visiting, really wanted to like the place but. A few small details made the experience very mediocre. First, we go in and the place is full so we sit down and wait out turn to be serviced. The staff seem to occupied cooking that nobody acknowledged us or even let us know that there was a sign in paper at the register, maybe putting up a sign would avoid people walking in and waiting not knowing they need to sign in. As someone who also works in the restaurant industry, signs work wonders for first time customers, and for general direction. Watching the staff work also was, interesting, I noticed they don’t have a heat lamp or any source to keep orders hot while waiting for the staff who was still working on their end of a meal, seeing plates sit on a counter waiting for bacon or sausage without being under some heat, obviously not the best way for food to reach the table still hot. The food was just, okay to be blatantly honest. Seemed like a shell of what it once was but still wants to hold on to what made it amazing in the past? Just an opinion of course, the staff were friendly for the most part, but this visit did not wow me.
Food & service was good. Great place to stop after a long flight as the airport is nearby.

Awful the waitress said yes to refilling my drink and then walked into the back with her coworker and that took like a good 5 minutes (and made me miss my bus) before she came back and kept giving me weird stares in front of my girlfriend making us both very uncomfortable and her demeanor made us want to leave and the waffles were actually terrible
Waitress was on point and quick food was bomb as busy as that place gets only down fall place is way to small so the wait can be a little long

Got snapped at for having the audacity to sit down while I waited for one other. They wouldn't even let me order a coffee while I waited.
That's fine, there's a Village Inn two doors down.

The servers are over worked at times but still succeed at getting the orders out in an efficient manner. Ty is absolutely the best person this location has.

Dear Waffle House Manager, this just now was my second time trying to get an actual table for myself to have a last Waffle House meal before heading on to California where there aren’t any Waffle Houses. Yesterday and again today you denied me to sit in a booth. Yesterday I took the waiter’s word and left without much discussion. Today I tried again and yet again, was denied a regular table (the empty one right by the door that nobody was waiting for). I offered $20 on top, nothing. I offered to buy 2 full meals to make up for the second seat. But you refused to budge. You said someone might walk in and see me sitting alone at a table for 2. Outrageous. I’ve driven 2000 miles across the country on this trip and every Waffle House along the way employs a friendly “sit wherever you want hun” approach. Not here in Albuquerque. This is very strange and deeply saddening. There’s something special about Waffle House, it’s simple yet welcoming and familiar. I don’t understand why you would run yours any different. I guess the last real Waffle House westbound on I-40 isn’t actually in Albuquerque. How disappointing. I hope by turning me away twice you feel really good about yourself and your special rules and you were able to make much more money with that table in those 30 minutes I would have occupied it! Writing this from a booth at Denny’s down the road.

Usually the food is good but my friend and I visited after work and after we got our meal and started eating she found a hair in her fried egg that she had already eaten most of . I decided to check mine too and there was also a long strand on mine . I immediately got sick to my stomach the manager didn’t apologize , and we still had to pay for our whole meal which I didn’t get to enjoy minus the egg. The cashier had no sympathy, and had an attitude about making our ticket separate. I would’ve raked a photo, but I was too nauseated to stay any longer . I 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. I’d go to IHOP.

disgusted, went there to have a nice breakfast after working a night shift just for there to be hair in the food. i then accidentally spilled my drink and they just gave me a washcloth and a trash, then as we were checking out staff were standing there hehehahaing and idk what but terrible experience. usually i have no problems with this place but this did it for me😒
Went there for breakfast around 7:00. Sat down at the counter and waited, and waited, and waited. After 5 minutes of no one so much as saying hello, I got up and asked to speak to the manager. When he came out, I explained how upset I was. He didn't care one iota. He graciously offered to actually serve me. I've been coming here every couple of weeks for YEARS, and this is how they treat me. Lord knows how they'd treat a one off. They have permanently lost a long term customer, and I strongly recommend anyone else avoid it as well, unless they can greatly improve their service.
