All Walmart stores have their problems (i.e., bad customer service, long lines, etc.) but this is among the worst Walmart locations I've seen. I came here for their one hour photo, and when I returned to pick the pictures up, the poor guy working the counter was so overwhelmed that he had six customers all asking for his help at once! It took me almost another whole hour just to get waited on... My advice - no matter what you need, go someplace else instead of coming here.

I dont appreciate the fact that I was treated like a common criminal after spending a large amount of money on groceries at this establishment. Upon exiting their store, I was confronted and demanded that I show my receipt to prove I purchased my groceries. Stunned and somewhat panicked they would ask me such a question, I could not find it. I was escorted to the office in a very rude manner to find proof that I did indeed use my credit card. At this point I searched every bag and dumped my purse furiously looking for my receipt. I finally found it in one of my bags. No apology, nothing. As a matter of fact, all what was said for the insinuation was "have a nice day" in a very smug manner. I would rather shop and give my hard earned money where I am not treated like a thug and humiliated. I gave this a one star because it would not submit. If I had my own option it would be a negative 3.

I needed an item and was looking at some competitors and couldn't find it there. I called Walmart to see if they had it. I now remembered why I don't care for shopping here. I called and spoke to someone who said he would find out. It was thirty minutes later he never came back on the phone. I drove over since I could get an answer over the phone. When I walked in the store I couldn't find anyone to help me find the item I was looking for. I ended up leaving frustrated. Customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. It had been over a year since I had shopped at a Walmart now I don't want to go back again.

Preferred Back Friday location! Staff is a axing and super helpful. Yes, the area it's located is not the best, but on black friday they triple the security and make sure their patrons are safe. It is a walmart, but the sales are decent. We were in and out within 45 minutes with every sale item we wanted secured.

Wretched hive of scum and villainy. The worst Walmart in the known universe. Badly stocked but if you do find what you need you'll spend 20+ minutes just to check out. Parking lot is awful, too. My advice is to go to any other Walmart if you really need Walmart. Would give zero stars if possible.

Zero stars if i could. This Walmart, to put it frankly, is utterly disgusting. Every time I come, it's a freak show. I stick out like a sore thumb for the simple fact that I'm wearing clean clothes and have bathed in at least a week prior to coming. Unfortunately, this is the closest Walmart to my house and every time I need any form of a tool, I am forced to come here. Not to mention the junkies, tweakers and drunks that will ask you for one of these 3 items, a cigarette, money, or drugs on some occasions, and the people that will simply yell at you. Please if you do not want to go into a unspeakable state of panic, do not come here.

Walmart is Walmart but this one associate stood out. Isabel.. She was going above and beyond making sure one of tge stores electronic wheelchairs would be ready and charged. I loved her saying "if it doesn't get moved it doesn't get charged" as she was pulling tge dead machine to its charger

You've heard of suicide by police. If you are ever feeling down and you want to end it all but you are concerned that the good Lord won't let you in through the pearly gates if you take matters into your own hands...Come here and there's a decent chance that you will get offed by a homeless methed out toothless Breaking Bad caricature. Suicide by Walmart. It's a Great Value.

This Wal-Mart is decent. Not the best or worst I've ever been to. Of course there can always be more checkouts open but that seems to be standard for Wal-Mart.

I was trying to figure out how to give 1 star when ALL STAR (aka 10 star one for each year of awesome service) Grace came to the rescue. They announced the store was closing and Alley quickly made her meat selection and rushed to the register along with all 30+ others in the store. The genius customer service manager Chris decided to close all but one register...as if that was going to help people exit the store in a timely fashion. Yes, it's Wal-Mart but Alley and I do expect the manager to be able to at least count all their fingers and figure out 1 cashier and more than all their finger customers isn't going to close the store quickly.... Grace hops on the register and begins calling Chris to get permission to open her register...Chris can't decide if this is a good idea or not.... He finally, 8 minutes later decides to maybe listen to Grace and decides to meander up to the front joking with another young cashier swinging his keys. He reaches Grace's register and says..."I guess you can open up and, yes there is still cash in your drawer." and goes right back to laughing, flirting, talking and swinging his keys with the same young cashier that was already off work. Demote Chris and somebody give Grace a RAISE, as she the only employee that knows how to provide excellent customer service!

This location is by far the worst Walmart store in Albuquerque. Regional and district managers should be ashamed. This store needs to be cleaned up and it needs to start from the top since apparently no one seems to be able to do their jobs. The store is filthy. Department managers sure aren't doing their job. Forget about automotive and sporting goods. Items aren't even in the correct places and random products on shelves with no rhyme or reason. I thought maybe they were in the middle of a remodel and made the mistake of asking and was told that they weren't and I had my mind blown. I hadn't been in this particular location for about a year since I live on the other side of town but was in the area and needed to kill some time. I ended up leaving the basket and walking out and going to my normal location. Yes, the neighborhood isn't that great and I'm sure there are the typical issues with vagrants and panhandling but the residents and patrons in this part of town should be able to visit a Walmart with standards. How embarrassing for visitors or travelers to patron this location. I'm an avid Walmart shopper but this location is ridiculous. Time for a shake up!!!

Clean super center . The way the store is organized makes it hard to find stuff especially if your a traveler. I would go back of course it's Walmart but iy should be organized better.

I go to this location often as it is near my home in Nob Hill.I do not feel safe there, even with them increasing security personnel. Today 2 male Hispanic employees suppose to be working were hanging out in the frozen desserts isle. They kept being in my way and cared less that they were bashing their jobs, one complaining of working 6 days in a row to the other named "Rafael". Get a life! Between their lazy asses and the cart they were suppose to be unloading customers could not shop easily. This was 9:00 am-the store opens at 6 am. Does any supervisor pay any attention to staff? I find employees visiting in pets department also.Supervisors need to make their presence known to employees and customers.

Awful customer service. I called the women and said i needed to talk to the "pool" section. I was then transferred to a women that said "hi how can I help you? You need help with a pool?" I then said yes and she put me on hold for 12 minutes. I decided to hang up and try again... Then a guy answered and said "how can I help you?" I proceeded to say I Called awhile ago, asking for a pool. He continued to say " We've had people calling all day about pools and there's no one in the pool section because it's Sunday". I was so confused due to the first call.. When he asked me what happened on the phone call before... I told him the women before him put me on hold for more than 10 minutes .. He proceeded to say " then here you go". HE ALSO PUT ME ON HOLD, NO ONE ever responded to me!! Just awful customer service.

Boo! I was walking into this Walmart store this afternoon with my (purse-sized) backpack, zoning out, listening to music on my headphones while I ran a quick errand when I'm accosted by an employee chasing behind me as I walked in. She came up behind me and grabbed my shoulder which nearly scared me out of my skin. She didn't ask me politely or inform me of the policy of no backpacks being allowed in the store she just demanded I give my bag to her out of the blue. This was the first I'd heard of this new Walmart rule so I was naturally very taken aback. She was very aggressive and it was all very sudden. I felt like I was being treated like a criminal. I refused to hand over my bag, mainly based on the pure shock of the situation but also due to the fact that I was not carrying an oversized bag or even a large bag by any means so I felt it was ridiculous to be required to place it in the custody of a rude disgruntled employee to begin with. I asked to speak to a manager and another employee came over, presumably the manager. She was not any more informed or able to give me a straight answer about why small fashion backpacks like mine weren't allowed to begin with. She said any bag with two straps was not allowed! If that were the case, most purses wouldn't be allowed in either! I asked her the reasoning behind this new rule and she just said that it was the new site managers rule and she had to follow instructions. But wait there's more! Next she refused to give me a plastic bag to place my valuables in while I shopped when I asked for one, saying they didn't have bags! At this point I was pretty upset. It's one thing to try and prevent theft or whatever it is they want to prevent by not allowing large backpacks, I get it. It's another to enforce an arbitrary rule and not allow customers with smaller bags to bypass the rule, or at the very least to protect themselves by offering a cheap Walmart plastic bag to keep anything they may need in while shopping in the store. Or in my case, keep the things they can't easily replace or may not want to leave with strangers safe. Sadly, today I had various items that were highly valuable with me. Items that would have been difficult if not impossible to replace One being a pair of hair cutting shears valued at $500 (I'm a hairstylist.) I wasn't about to leave them in the hands of strangers or simply carry them awkwardly around Walmart like some sort of Edward scissorhands wannabe. Let's not forget that I wasn't even informed there were actual lockers for the confiscated backpacks until I was already leaving because this trip was obviously a fail and the employees didn't know how to confiscate backpacks without inciting rage apparently. The only way I'd leave my bag anywhere with anyone, is if it was emptied of my valuables and I was allowed to bring them with me first. But sorry, there are no more plastic bags at Walmart apparently! Fresh out! I am appalled that they have this new rule, but I'm more appalled at the treatment I received, the fact that they wouldn't even work with me to allow me to take my valuables out of my bag so I could check in my backpack without fear of losing hundreds of dollars in equipment if my bag were lost or stolen in their care is just unheard of. This new "no backpack" rule is so ridiculous because you can easily bring any other large bag, I saw plenty of people with larger tote bags and duffel style bags and oversized purses strolling right in, somehow those two shoulder straps are the worst things you can have at Walmart these days.
