This used to be the best coffee in town under the prior ownership. Since they were retired and it sold, it has become very erratic, both in service and in roast. If you’re an old Whitings customer and like a full city roast, this may not be for you. It is now much lighter and the service is a little grumpy. They’re probably having to deal with a number of people like me who are disappointed with the change, but they could learn a little bit about customer service.
I love that I can get fresh roasted coffee each month. Staff is friendly and ordering online is pretty easy. I wish there was a little more variety in terms of roast, but what they do have is good; Mainly medium and dark roast. Would love a light roast from time to time.
So glad this independent business was nearby. Ordered a latte with oat milk and it was FANTASTIC!! The team behind the counter was super knowledgeable and answered all of my questions about grinding coffee.
