Sorry to say that we went to Yanni's for a birthday dinner tonight, but it's closed! They closed in November 2023. There wasn't anything about that in what we saw online. The one star is for sadness, not for the quality of anything there.

We hadn't been here in years but had a NM Restaurants gift card and Mediterranean food sounded good so we decided to give them a try again. The atmosphere is nice and our server did a good job. The food, overall, was fine but nothing special and I felt the portions were a little small for the price. My wife ordered a Fireside Sangria that looked great but arrived watery and one-dimensional considering all of the fruit, cinnamon, etc that was in it. We shared a steamed artichoke app that was very good- but $16 for an artichoke? I ordered the Gyro (pictured) and it seemed there was more red onion than gyro meat which was disappointing at $20 when I could go to so many other places and get a similar gyro for half that. It was very flavorful and enjoyable once I removed about half the onions. Again, nothing terrible but also nothing noteworthy for me besides the prices.

The most AMAZING, DELICIOUS steak I ever had!! Cooked to perfection!! The potatoes au gratin and fresh green beans were also to die for!! Absolutely no additional seasonings were needed!The service was out of this world and the atmosphere was very nice!

Good parking in back, if you pay for parking, yanni's will validate your ticket. Very good service, great food, great place. The meal I got was delicious. Souvlaki chicken, squash, rice and baklava ice cream, which was shared by 3.

Been a few years since I've been, but decided to try it this past weekend. Don't remember being so impressed before, but now it is amazing! New chef???Great drink from the bar. Then perfect warm crusty bread and oil. Then the crab cake... Just wow. The calamari was the best I've had in a long time. Easily the best in Albuquerque. Then had a seafood stuffed acorn squash and was equally impressed.Left the place saying it was the best meal we've had in a long time.We're adding it to our must visit monthly places.

The food is incredible. Even though we had to wait 15 minutes because of a misunderstanding from the hostess it was worth the wait.
Yanni's is always a great place for Mediterranean food. We had a great evening, and we got the best sest in the patio! The atmosphere was perfect. The food was great! It's definitely a great place to take the special person in your life!
We went on a Thursday night it wasn't at all busy. The service was prompt, the food was incredible. Really try the crab cake appetizer, I swear I was tempted to just eat a couple of orders of them it was incredible. The seafood stuffeg acorn sqaush was fantastic. We'll definitely be back.
