My server not only lied to me about the A la carte prices on the sashimi. But I was also undersold the amount I was promised when I ordered. I got the a la carte because I'm allergic to sesame and I couldn't really enjoy the menu because more than 80% of their menu is cooked on the flat top or has sesame. I ordered 3 orders of sashimi which she said was $2 per piece and that it would come with 2 pieces per order. I only got 5 pieces of sashimi so I was shorted a piece of fish. My sashimi was warm and sweating when it was served. The salmon was so fatty and a terrible cut. My tuna was falling apart and felt like I was eating week old fish. Each of my a la carte orders came to $6.99 per order. So not only was I paying 3.5x the price I was told I was undersold my fish with tiny cuts to boot. Never going back again what a terrible experience and the server knew she wronged me but didn't apologize. I walked out completely feeling screwed over. Never going back and making sure to tell people to avoid this place so the space can be used for a more honest and a real restaurant.

We came here for my mom's birthday as a party of 12. We called a week in advance to make a reservation and they said they could not take reservations that far in advance and to call back the day before. So we called back the day before and they took our reservation. It was very busy for lunch time but things were going pretty smoothly. We placed our first order and got the food. Then we waited for a solid 30 minutes before getting to place our second order because they were understaffed and our waitress was taking care of the entire restaurant alone. Then after we placed our second order, we waited another 45 minutes before inquiring about our food. The waitresses apologized that the order got deleted and we had to place our order again. The food came out fairly quickly that time but we only got to order twice before our time for eating was up. The manager was only willing to waive the 18% gratuity for the waitress but we did not agree to that because it wasn't her fault that they were understaffed--especially since we called in advance TWICE! And they charged us an extra $10 per person for staying over the two hour time limit. So in the end we paid over $400 tab to eat sushi twice. Incredibly disappointing experience!

I have been here plenty of times. I started going to this restaurant as soon as they opened and the first few times I went It was absolutely delicious. I had zero issues. The service was good and the price wasn’t bad fast-forward to recently… i’ve had nothing but bad experiences. The last three times I’ve gone I have been unhappy with how the roles have tasted. They are very fishy and tasteless. The fishy part is what I was most worried about, but I thought I would give it one more shot since it’s so close to my house. I went last night and I ordered some sashimi. It was OK not my favorite a little too expensive in my opinion. But not terrible I ordered a spicy roll and a California roll for my daughter. They were both terrible. I only took two bites of the spicy tuna roll and pushed it to the side. When the waitress came up to me and asked if I wanted to go box I told her no I didn’t care for the roll. I didn’t taste right so she took it off the bill, thankfully. I ended up getting sick to my stomach last night and all day today. I’m pretty Sure, whatever I ate gave me some type of food poisoning. It’s safe to say I will not be going back to This place. I’m not sure What exactly has changed but the quality of fish is not what it was when they first opened.

I don't recommend take out, I got home only to discover missing rice, ginger and Wasabi, when I spend money I expect to get everything I paid for. Coming from the Bay Area, the food at Yoshi Mame simply average, nothing to rave about. I will continue my search for a good AUTHENTIC Japanese Restaurant..

This place was awesome. All you can eat for a set price. Not just sushi but all kinds of cool appetizers, soups, and noodle dishes. The sushi was great, the miso slapped, great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

This is a location I would highly recommend if your craving sushi and wanting a lot without breaking the bank. This is a sit and serve restaurant with a all you can eat feature for 2 hours with a twist, just make sure you finish what you order or you'll end up paying for that item individually. When entering this location is tucked away in the corner by Michaels and a soccer supply store. Once at the front counter you have the option of all you can eat or at individual plater and they will seat you. You then get a large variety to choose from starting with soups like miso, to sushi like the ninja roll or lion roll and ending with dessert. The best part you can order whatever you like just make sure to finish it! This would be perfect for if family is visiting or a date spot with options in flavor.

I'd have to say pain gratuity when there was only seven of us, but we were splitting the bill four different ways making our waitress make her entire paycheck off of one table for just gratuity.

I don't like that I had to pay a $17 gratuity with the rest of my family also paying roughly the same amount. Our waiter walked away with almost $64 in just gratuity

Horrible horrible service they set us down and made us wait 20 minutes before bringing water or even asking us what type of food we want we got up and left

A fun place to eat. They have an all-you-can-eat option for $28.99. The cool thing is that is just about everything on the menu. Want sushi? It's all included. Teriyaki Chicken? Included. All the appetizers are included. Sometimes the service is a little slow at first, but they can get busy. Mostly, great service, very good food, and it's open enough that we have a great time.
