Zinc Wine Bar & Bistro

I couldn't even get in the door, there was a homeless person flipping out right at the door so I decided to not park and go in.

Zinc offers creative, well-prepared entrees, as well as very good desserts. I had lamb loin, prepared rare, as requested. Ample portion with a chard-cannelloni bean vege and a feta-olive tart rounding out the entrée. My wife had a grilled cauliflower steak with oyster mushrooms that she said was very good. We split a salad and finished with a chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Zinc has a very good wine list. Service was very good, as well. Only criticism is the noise level, which can be a bit excessive.

Had to go one last time before they closed. This has been one of my favorite places to have an enjoyable meal and a good night out and it didn't disappoint! Wishing the ownership and staff of Zinc the best!

This is absolutely our favorite restaurant in Albuquerque! The food never disappoints! We entertain a lot of out of town guests . This is our #1 choice! And P.S. Appreciate Bailey!!

Food& service was grest

My husband and I always enjoy our meals at Zinc. Jesse made sure we got our food in time before the theatre and always makes good suggestions. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent event. 4 great old-world wines were featured and wonderfully paired with the chef's best. The Red Chile Rubbed Rotisserie Pork Loin was outstanding. Wonderful experience and lots of bang for the ticket cost. Looking forward to the next event.

The Decor was nice but overall the food and service were a miss. My mashed potatoes were creamy but the rest of the food was not well seasoned and cold. Our servers did not seem too happy to be helping me my friend who I had invited to dinner. Also my plate was taken without asking when I wasn’t finished with my food.. which was odd? It just wasn’t the best for my first experience and the service didn’t help.

It was our first experience with Zinc and we were pleased with both the ambience and the offerings. The service was attentive. My chicken saltimbocca was delicious. Zinc has an extensive wine list.

We started with the ahi tuna and it was so delicious!! I had the lamb for dinner and he had the flank steak - they were both cooked perfectly and were tasty! We can’t wait to come back!

OMG DELISH!! Everything (except the onion soup needing a little salt) was AMAZING!! The Special salad - so YUM; the LAMB - DELISH - all the ingredients SO Tasty. The WINE from Italy - YUMMY. The Pecan Pie - OMG - such a treat. We went at 6 and there was a small number of people - but by time we left - the place was getting busy. Wanna try the speak easy downstairs. THIS IS A GEM to keep on your regular list!! DON'T MISS IT!!

I had made reservations two weeks I'm advance. When we arrived yhe hostesses sat us in the bar area next to the front window. I didn't make reservations in advance to sit in the bar area.When we asked if they could seat us somewhere else they said they were all booked up. After a bit we noticed other patrons coming in and being seated in the main dining area. We got another server over and said we wanted a new table. Then the owner came over and sat us up stairs and was very accommodating. By the time we left there were still empty tables up stairs. I know it's a small issue but I just have very low tolerance for poor customer service. Especially at an establishment like Zinc where you are going drop over a $100 or any establishment for that matter. Properly train your hostesses. They are the first person you encounter when you enter a restaurant and she had no interest in accommodating our request. Food was excellent. Servers were excellent and they did comp us a desert.
