Hands down one of THE BEST family nights we’ve ever had. We went to their holiday hoedown and what a time was had by all! We enjoyed the hayride around the property where we got to see all the Christmas decor and lights. It ran pretty frequently and it was unlimited rides. They have an adorable souvenir shop that sells s’mores kits for cheap… Make sure to get those early because they will sell out! They also have a live fire pit where you can roast your marshmallows and make your s’mores. They have cute store fronts for nice photo-ops and also an area where Santa was to visit with the children. They have a pre-dinner show at the beautiful chapel with a very talented cast. The chapel was heated and comfy during the cold winter days. The main attraction was the chuckwagon dinner fit for a cowboy! Absolutely delicious- not one thing was bad and there was PLENTY to go around - loved making the line for dinner service and sitting with complete strangers enjoying a hearty meal. The after dinner shower was extremely entertaining and my kids loved it! Truly an experience of a time long gone by that anyone will enjoy. Cannot recommend it more! We will definitely be back. The whole family is so talented as well as the rest of the musicians. A true 10/10 experience.

We finally got to check out the Christmas show at Flying J Ranch in Ruidoso, and wow, it was like stepping into a holiday postcard! The whole place was lit up with lights and decorations that made the whole ranch sparkle. They had all these performances that really got me into the Christmas spirit – singers belting out classic carols and some really fun acts that were all about celebrating the season.The ranch had its usual cowboy vibe going on, but with a festive twist. I even got to enjoy a hearty Western-style dinner, which was delicious. And guess what? Santa made an appearance, which was a hit with the kids and, okay, maybe with me too. It was such a warm, inviting atmosphere, the kind that makes you want to sip hot cocoa and just soak in the joy of the season. I'm definitely planning to make this a new holiday tradition. It was the perfect mix of rustic charm and Christmas magic.

Took my family there for a winter dinner and a show. We had a bbq buffet and then the house band put on a show of country Christmas songs. Really good band and the food was good too.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a Christmas evening activity. The entire White Mountain Christmas event is worth it. My family of five plus two guests attended Christmas evening, and we all enjoyed our time. They had a little western town setup decorated with Christmas lights and an antique car hayride to take you around the property. There were multiple fire pits to stay warm before the main dinner hall opened. There was a small chapel where they put on two fiddle shows, so authentic and western! There was a very nicely dressed Santa and Mrs. Claus inside a heated shed to take family pics.We had dinner at 7 pm and the staff was so efficient serving, we didn’t wait at all. The food was delicious, we had beans, brisket or chicken, applesauce and spice cake, a biscuit, and a drink. You can get seconds, if you’d like. They served coffee once everyone sat down.An hour after dinner, there was a show on the main stage. So worth it if you’re in the area.If you think you’re going to go, buy tickets early. They sell out fast!

A great Christmas experience! Everyone was very friendly, the area was beautiful, and the food was delicious. The dinner went very smoothly -they've got it down to a science. My husband is vegetarian, and he was just planning on eating the sides. But they noticed right away that he didn't take any meat and asked if he would like a veggie option and then they were quick to provide it. The music was wonderful. They are all very talented. My husband's favorite part of the night, however, might have been the very cute, friendly cat he met on the grounds. So sweet!

I had the pleasure of officiating my friends' wedding here. From start to finish they were absolutely amazing to work with - so friendly, so helpful, they truly went above and beyond to ensure their special day went off without a hitch. The setting is just absolutely gorgeous, and fun too! The old western boardwalk is really cute. The dinner they prepared was incredible as well. Just all around, it was absolutely perfect. I can't speak highly enough of this place.

What an incredible experience!!! Our kids loved, loved, LOVED the Flying J Ranch. They went two shows in row and enjoyed every minute of it! I’m telling you from the second you arrive you are blessed by this immersive experience. This multi generational family owned operation has been making incredible memories for decades. Kids are already begging us to make a trip for the Christmas program. They loved the gunfight, the stories, and dinner and show. THEN the gift shops have so many cool things for kids. We just got back to Missouri and they have been practicing their new lasso skills on our dog!!! Great time!!!
