We were excited to try some delicious Mexican food after a full day of driving to get to Angel Fire. We tried to call ahead to make sure tables were available. When they answered the phone and my wife asked if we could make a reservation, she was told they aren’t taking them and was hung up on. We figured they must be really busy. When we found the place, it looked to be pretty new. Nobody was there. We and one other family were the only customers. We had to pay for chips and salsa, which were the highlight of the meal. We ordered beef fajitas. They did not taste of new or fresh beef. They had a very off flavor and were tough as boot. For the first time in my life, I did not eat my supper. Not edible. To boot, the bill was $160 for our party of eight.

Fair warning, they might close early when they run out of food. They turned the “Closed” sign on at 7:20 (40 minutes before they actually close) We waited more than 35 minutes after we ordered to find out they were out of beef and therefore we had to change our orders. Then we had to wait another 30 minutes for our food to arrive and when it did, one of the entrees (that didn’t have beef) was kinda cold when it arrived. There was no hostess so it was up to the guests to keep track of whose turn it was to be seated. The food wasn’t that good, the service was acceptable but the kitchen was obviously struggling. I would suggest finding somewhere in town to eat but I don’t think there’s really any other Tex-Mex place so…. If you’re gonna go there for dinner, I suggest getting there early.

Hidden gem in Angel Fire. Of all the places I’ve been this is definitely at the top of the list of local restaurants. Delicious food, friendly staff, and food was delivered quickly. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

You might want to call before you go up there. I thought I did my research and googled the hours. Drove almost an hour, got to a very well lit restaurant with the open sign on, only to be told they were closed. It was 6:35pm during ski season.

The service is very kind and the food came out quick. The food was good, but the beans were watery, which was a little disappointing because I love refried beans! My friend got enchiladas and loved them.

A great Mexican food spot! We stayed in Angelfire for a week and ate here for lunch all seven days. The salsa is excellent (especially the spicy) and service was great! Very similar to good ole Tex Mex! Highly recommend!

Decent service. Food came the quickest I have ever had (!!) in a sit down restaurant. The fajitas were decent. The enchiladas had no red or green sauce, just a sour cream covering with no lime or cilantro, hence no flavor. No margaritas - made for a blasé experience.

They DO have Tex Mex, and they also have the friendliest staff! They are on our regular rotation. They also pack things up so nicely to go!
