What a great stepping back in time a few years cafe. Not a lot of bells and whistles. Just a nice, laid-back atmosphere with the sweetest owner. She has worked there since 1985 and bought it 10 yrs ago. She works her tail off in this place. The green chili sauce is amazing. Would go back if we are ever in this area again.

My husband and I went on 2-6-2024, on a Tuesday around noon. Wasn't busy at all. Our waitress didn't take our order right. We had to chase her down to tell her anything. She gave us drinks one time and never came and asked us if we wanted more. So my husband never had a drink during his food. THE WAITRESS NEVER CAME BACK PERIOD. NEVER SEEN HER AGAIN. FOOD WASN'T THAT GOOD. First time and last time to go there..

Heading south out and can't find a place to eat in Durango?n go to the Aztec! We dropped in with a table for 10 around 10;30am on a Saturday morning. Great food and excellentn service!
